An Elephante named Elsie Bibble
sits in the Neopian pound
For two lonely years she's been waiting
for a new residence to be found

She dreams of one day finally leaving
of finding a forever home
of jubilantly running round freely
in a place where the Elephantes roam

Until then, she thinks, I'll be patient
and anticipate much better days
Imagining things that I'll do when
I finally move far away

I'll sit in the warm Island sunshine
relax on a chair by the sea
eat peanuts until I am bursting
and drink lots of icy cold tea

Elephante Rhythm

You hear them long before they’re seen,
The thud, the sounding beat.
The drumming of each strong footfall,
The stomp of shifting feet.
A rolling rhythm ambles out,
As Elephante steps through,
Steady as the footsteps fall,
The gait is slow but true.

A rolling, rumbling, melody,
Does sound the slow approach.
A path cut through Neopia,
That none would dare to broach!
There is no sound like that they make,
As creatures amble here.
A sound that echoes ‘round and ‘round,
The trumpet, loud and clear.

For Elephantes create a tune,
A melody, they make.
You know they’re there, before they’re seen,
It’s magic, no mistake.
So listen in, my fellow friend,
For steps big as their hearts!
A rolling, rhythmic, magic tune,
As now their journey starts!

The Candy Elephante: A Beautiful Hue

The Candy Elephante is fun!
My beating heart has clearly sung.
The white and fuchsia stripes are grand,
The finest pattern in the land.

The swirls are whimsical. Divine
Hues and patterns, so sublime,
Are dazzling treats, sure to excite
A ton of people, am I right?

A peppermint adorns the hat.
It would be silly to lick that
Candy, since the pet will fume.
You'll dash away from certain doom.

If you have an Elephante,
It would be quite wise to grant
Your pet a new, coveted hue.
Endless cheering will ensue.

The Elephante Who Loved to Eat

Whether it's from tender meats to sweets, 
Come what may, I always got the eats! 
Off we go, on my dime,
It's finally dinner time!

To the Food Shop, I laugh with joy!
The home of the many foods I enjoy!
A heavenly blend of basil and cream,
A savory soup covered with steam.
Never fails to turn my trunk and lips into a beam. 

To the Tropical Food Shop, we head!
To get a whiff of the famous Banango Bread.
Hello, could we get one Flarbe please!
We also want a Triapple with some stinky cheese.
A wonderful platter we'll share with the island's breeze. 

To the Merifoods, come, let's race!
A shop with meat and loaves is my favorite place!
A bite of Baked Rye Loaf with Blackened Honey,
Let's have some Roast Pork that cost too much money.
We have just enough left for desserts, sonny!

To the Chocolate Factory, let's go!
Shop front has a hot drum cake made of coco!
To get the decadent dessert that I dream!
A chocolate grarrl made of ice cream.
Doesn't the sweet shop make your eyes gleam?

The day ends with a full belly.
I'm bloated, yet I still want to go to the deli.
But it's time to sleep and we must part.
Perhaps we can meet tomorrow for an Almond Tart?

I love my Elephante

Today is a good day.
"Hey!
Let's have dinner together,"
My Elephante looks at me and says.
He has pocket money.
Because of love, he would like to pay.

Then we buy a turkey, fed with hay.
We cook it together and put it on a tray.
Elephante states, "don't forget to pray,
For such a wonderful day."

After dinner, we are too full to play.
So we look at the sky, count stars,
and wander to a bay.
We climb to the top of a tree,
look at the branches sway.
"How beautiful," my Elephante turns to me,
"Sally, you forgot, today is your birthday!
Thank you for taking good care of me,
Are you curious about what I have prayed?"

"Yes," I nod.
"Well, I believe love is in my DNA.
I am your pet, but I want to say,
I want to keep it forever this way.
Many people quit because they are busy,
but Sally, please stay.
I won't bother you too much,
so please tell me if it is okay."

"Of course!" I yell at my Elephante,
I may grow up,
I may have lots of bills to pay,
But my Elephante is always there for me,
no matter weekend or workday.
"You are the one alleviates my headache,
keeps me accompanied every day.
Of course, I won't leave you alone.
I know you love food,
so together,
we are going to taste every delicious piece of gourmet.
France, China, Zimbabwe,
After I save enough money,
I will take you to those places.
I may be old,
but my memories will not fade.
Believe me, please, my little Elephante,
I promise you I'd never walk away."

Oh wait, he’s a squat one; square set.
He doesn’t stand very tall,
Only 40 centimetres, so small.
About half the size of a baguette.

So why does he have such a reputation?
Like the jetsam, but a much kinder creation.
With great heroes and goofs
Like Mammoth, Roundhoof-
Historic legends and myths find foundation.

But to me the elephante is such a dime
They’ve produced the great medics of our time.
With tiny pink wings
Trunks for cuddling things
Subject of many a nusery rhyme.

So next time you meet this formidable beast,
I hope your knowledge of him has increased.
A kind word merely penned,
And you’ll make a life-friend.
Its Elephante Day, so celebrate with a feast!

200M Peanut Dash

Elephante winds up her trunk,
Letting the peanut fly,
As it soon landed with a ker-plunk,
Poor little Puppyblew stared at the sky.

Elephante threw the peanut once more,
As Puppyblew ran and began to jump, 
The peanut flew farther giving a higher score,
Puppyblew chased after the peanut and giving a log a bump,

Look Puppyblew! Run, run run!
With leaps and bounds with an occasional crash, 
In the end you had bundles of fun
With the 200 Meter Peanut Dash.
