A day to appreciate who we have, 

And show them how much we care. 

 

Buying sweet treats for that special one, 

Rummaging through the stores. 

Filling baskets with lots, 

Then hurrying out the doors. 

 

Taking the time to write thoughtful messages, 

As the pen taps on the card. 

This person means the world to you, 

How can writing it be so hard? 

 

And once the pen begins to write, 

It never seems to stop. 

I need to tell you that I love you, 

Otherwise I might pop!

A celebration bright!

And eyes do shine so bright.

They arrive when love is displayed,
True, tender and boldly unafraid.

Sometimes, love just happens.
In all forms like the Farnswap.
It strengthens without questions,
Cute as the Valentine Lyins.

Around our petpets, we are smitten
By their endearing color and look.
Love can be a slow, gradual notion,
Moving like the Slorg or Turtmid.

It can be quick and sudden, too,
Like the march of the GX-4 Oscillabot.
Listen- the Noil barks, the Acko coos,
Radiant in their pink and red hues.

The Valentine Kadoatie softly mews,
The Bearog’s tongues lick our faces.
The Valentine Cirrus loves to amuse,
Raining plushie hearts for a select few.

Love can also be like a present-
The Valentine Rock embodies this.
It endures each day, each moment,
And comes without prejudgment.

Though our hearts seem full, we think
We have room for more: the Magaral,
Baby Blu and Clompkin all cuddly pink-
Our heartbeats pulsing in sync!

No matter the petpet, love starts
With a bond and affectionate care.
We love them so, we’ll always support
Valentine petpets with all our hearts.

A greeting so mysterious
Was made to show your joy
So secretly. A glorious
Pink card, in ways so coy,
Surprises one on day fourteen
Of February. Cheers
From senders, although never seen,
Are totally sincere!

Quite sadly, though, the card is used
To bring mere money in.
Restockers seeking gold anew
Have caused a fate so grim.
They flock to Scorchio's to buy
The card in massive hoards,
Yet he has no idea why
The crowds break down the door.

I hope the card will serve to please,
But not by reaping cash.
The search for profit has to cease.
Pursuits completely rash
Have wrecked the bliss of Valentine's—
Intended joy has failed.
Alas, my pal, please keep in mind
That friendship should prevail.

Odd Valentine Pairings

spot a few

Unusual as
it may look,
on this day
no one cares

and Mutant Lupes,

all giving gifts,
spending time,
and basically
being nice!
They spend 
the day happily
which is truly
a beautiful 
sight to see!

can't find my

An Introvert's Valentine's Day

one Heart Latte
to share on
this special day
I saved it for
a neighbor
but *sigh* they
moved away.
I have several
Broken Heart
Keyrings, though
They cannot
be repaired,
but if you are
ever in need
I have a few
to spare.
For quiet pets
like me, it is
tough to find
a Valentine
as long as they
are kind to me
I don't
and will 
not mind.

But for a Mutant such as I,
that day would never come.

They find it normal for a Mutant,

To think of us as heartless,
one of Dr Sloth’s fine figures.

it’s unmoved and cold.
yet my own is drumming madly,
can I ever be as bold?

To share my feelings with another,
what a dream it could be.

not alone
I have never been
A ‘pet who’s said
to have a heart of stone.

Heart Shaped Glasses
and it makes me smile
Getting nicely dressed 
for Valentine’s Day
never goes out of style. 

Sending and getting
cards on this day
bring me so much glee
Hugs can bring much
happiness too though,
and best of all
they’re free!

Everybody gives
chocolates, but
I give my loved ones
cheeses. 
Some think it’s is
unconventional but
just for today
being “cheesy” pleases!

I try not to get
very sad
but some pals of mine
brought me cheeses too,
so I cannot feel too bad!
