Hooray, Hooray! 
It’s finally Lupe day!
These pets are so joyful, playful,and fun.
It’s time to celebrate them under the spring Sun! 

One famous Lupe is the King of Altador,
Someone who Neopians far and wide adore!
You will never find a friend so brave and loyal,
Nor one as regal and royal! 

Then there is the specter who haunts Mystery Island.
The Ghost Lupe may scare as he glides across the sand;
But he’s a kind soul who will heal you with a stare,
Unless you’re a Chia: then beware!

There is also the famous Meridell Knight,
Jeran, who is always ready to fight for what’s right.
It’s tough to find a pet so fair, true, and brave.
He still guards Meridell to this day! 

There’s too many other greats to name,
And that’s not including those without fame! 
So let’s celebrate this fantastic group
Of amazing Neopets known as Lupes!

The Werelupes’ Way

We’re deep in the forest so soon.
Pay no heed to the shuffling noises,
Never mind the omnipresent moon.
For it does no good in these woods
To agonize about the Werelupes.
Without question, they’re here tonight.
They are everywhere— surely you knew?
Waiting for the oblivious passersby.
So why worry about this rendezvous?

If you are to fret about one thing,
It is Gnarfas, the wretched beast
Of a Lupe with four arms swinging
And fur crimson like fury released.
Enchained by the Werelupe King,
Gnarfas is only unbound and free
To do the King’s fighting and bidding.
It’s a life of rage and uncertainty
For the beast treated as a plaything.

Perhaps we’ll come across him if we stay.
No one ever knows the Werelupes’ plight.
If we linger in the woods too long, I daresay,
They’d be eager to initiate an unfair fight.
Maybe they’ll bring Gnarfas to the melee; 
Or maybe we return home sooner tonight.
I’d never wish it on one to be their prey.
If we want to see again the morning light,
Pray we don’t cross the Werelupes’ way.

Ode to a Camouflage Lupe

On ice-cold evenings a storm ascends
The frenzied winds toss and turn
Shoppers and questers head on home
As the rising gale churns.
In weather like this he will emerge,
A Lupe so graceful, proud,
In a coat of blending sky and sea
He'll chase the raging clouds.

Tail a'whisking in the downpour
Ears swaying to the beat of rain
Eyes alert as he races through
The roads, into the plains.
A piece of sky and watery fur,
A fist of cloudy white,
He runs into the open green
And then out of sight.

You'll see him if you look closely,
But you may see nothing at all;
For on the days when the sky roars
And the mist rises with the squall,
He's like a blur amidst the torrent
Running with all his might
In a coat of roiling sky and sea
Till evening fades to night.

The Valiant Lupe of Neoquest

The Lupe of Neoquest, so grand,
Shall try to save a ravaged land.
The monsters plague it near and far,
Leaving many with a scar.

The Lupe bears unmatched bravery---
He wins all struggles. Many see
That they're no match for spells of his.
With magic wands, he's such a whiz!

The dervishes cannot prevail---
They crumble. Beasts of stone all fail.
Yet there's an Eyrie, oh so mean,
Like none the Lupe has ever seen!

Jahbal casts spells so wicked. Frost
Consumes the Lupe, yet hope's not lost.
He bounces back and casts his spell.
Jahbal just isn't feeling well!

The Lupe of valor saves the day---
He keeps all enemies at bay!
Jahbal falls off a balcony.
Good riddance, all will surely see.

Settle down, you're in for a quite a treat!
It's Lupe Day today, that's quite the feat.

Today, we celebrate Neopia's favourite wolves,
Their haunting howls during dusk soothes,

And into the night, as we fall asleep sound
Knowing we are protected by the Lupes surround.

With their teeth sharp too pointy to feel,
And the silkiest soft fur almost unreal,

These Neopets are our protectors and friend,
They'll keep us safe to the best of their intend.

If you have a Lupe, you're set for life,
They'll stand by your side through all your strife.

Lupes are the loyalest of their kind,
Strong, sweet, and of the brightest mind.

So there's to the Lupes of the world,
Hats off to one of the best Neopets today!

The Hero of Meridell

A light that shone in shades of gold,
A blade that struck with piercing cold,
A leader true that'd been foretold -
It's Jeran from the tales of old?

A Lupe so brave to risk his life,
In days of war and civil strife,
To face his foes in darkest night,
Defend the weak and do what's right.

He met his match in form of Kass,
A general of highest class.
And though his force he shant surpass,
Through wit and guile he pulled one fast.

Amidst the roars of storms and thunder,
The castle walls were torn asunder,
And Jeran's leadership prevailed,
Though save the life his own he failed.

And there he fell from clouds so high,
The shrouded castle in the sky.
A bitter end to Jeran's plight,
He won the war, but lost his fight.

But then when things had gone awry,
A faerie soared when all seemed nigh.
At one fell swoop so bold, so swift,
She gave the Lupe the biggest gift.

A second life - gift worth his deeds,
For he abode his soldier's creed,
In sacrifice fulfilled his errand,
Who else but the heroic Jeran?

The Baby and the Maraquan

The baby lupe loves to make friends,
He runs around for days on end.
Trying to find anybody new,
That might want to play with him too.

With his big ears he can hear,
Any other creature that might be near.
Whether it's pet, petpet, or petpetpet,
The baby lupe will not fret.

One day he met a friendly Maraquan,
Who taught him to swim all day long.
Playing on the shores of Kiko Lake,
They only took a break once for cake.

The baby and his new found friend,
Decided to stay together until the end.
Each day they met each other,
To play all day like they were brothers.

They taught each other all new tricks,
Like flips, and spins, and chasing sticks.
The baby lupe couldn't believe his luck,
Without the Maraquan, he would be stuck.

There's really no equivalent,
They're strong and fierce in a fight,
Chias watch out, they're known to bite.

They howl in midnight full bloom,
In hunting packs they do loom,
With ears that prick at smallest sound,
They scamper swiftly on the ground.

A Lupe makes for a great friend,
A loyal companion to the end,
No matter if they are mutant or baby,
They will always protect their family.

There are many famous Lupes we know,
Heroes and villains, all in tow,
There's King Altador and rascal Tomos,
Captain Scarblade and the wild Luperus.

With celebrations well under way,
A party is held for our Lupes today,
With Lupe treats and desserts delight,
Best of all, it's a full moon night.

In the dusk you sing your call,
the voice is heard by all,
in the nocturne you swing from side to side,
when upright, you're oh so tall!

A howl that's brisk as the night,
to the world it's quite a fright!
Though in some they take delight,
at the hauntingly spooky sight!

When searching through the forest,
you race among the pines,
you swing across from tree to tree,
although there are no vines!

Across your back the sheen is seen,
of dual Iron Lupe Swords!
Though to who would choose to battle you,
at present I have no words.

Your claws adorn the mighty,
against their neck they're worn.
Though to the unlucky lupe who had them,
their days are quite forlorn!

In packs they scurry across the light,
shone down from the somber moon,
though they disappear with sleight,
they're sure to be back soon!

He truly is afeared.

The zombie’s pretty weird!

Barik Von Lupe, the lupine police
Investigated crimes,
He’s saved Neopians from grief
Far too many time!

They’re loyal, big, and mighty brave,
They love exploring far,
Excited when adventuring,
Shenkuu to Maraqua. 

So celebrate the Lupe-ish way,
Devour lots of treats,
