The Pant Devil By icepick13

I take your money
I smile and stare
And to tell the truth
I really don't care.
When I come your way
You'd better hide
Or you could
Just stay inside.
I like rare items
like Starry Plushies and green Quiggle toys
That are the colors of trees.
I'm very evil and I'm proud of that
Hey, I even have a black pet Barbat.
Some people say I'm just a legend
But I taught them and took all their money.
Some people say that I'm blue and green
But I think that is totally obscene
My color is totally black
and I'm very proud of that.
I have no home, I live where I like
And if you've got a problem with that
Then hey, challenge me to a fight.
I like it when pets are total brats
And I might just bless them for being like that.
Sometimes I wonder, if what I'm doing is wrong
But then I just remember the evil song.
Sometimes I rob The Money Tree
But then all Neopians get mad at me.
Well, good bye to you
Be sure to be bad
Like me
And I will bless you...

"The acrimonious glare from a weeping sun..." By candidlies

The acrimonious glare from a weeping sun
dawn shatters over the horizon
we wake to please, once again.
Hunger in the soft underbelly of our souls
Malnourished minds, kept in cages.
Free us!
Free us from the bonds we are held to.
Left, abandonded, forsaken by owners, friends.
Psuedo proclamations of a soured love
to fill the space where full tummies once housed.
Pulled up by the scruff of our necks
where love collars once rested and retreated
the symbols of your affection worn off.
Carelessly abandoned here,
who ever would want a second hand pet?

St. David's Day By blawpthealien

From the country of daffodils and dragons,
Of language, leeks and legends.
From the country where Gelert came from
Where Merlin was said to have been born
Where the city in the west
Was swallowed up by the sea.
Where Prince Madoc left when he sailed the ocean
And found America first
Where this land lays forgotten next to England,
Considered more English than Welsh
We are the nation that made the sport of rugby
The rules from which American football is taken.
So remember on March 1st
About the patron saint of the Welsh
Then remember about our small country... WALES!!!

Bravery By mickia88

My master once explained to me
what bravery really was.
It is to fight for what and who you love
no matter what the cost.
It is to stand up for
what you believe in
your opinions,
and protect what is yours.
One day my master and I
were going for a walk.
And along came the Lava Ghoul
standing in our way.
He wanted to take my owner
and take her to his lair,
where she shall be his slave
forever within his power.
I loved my master dearly
and would do anything to help.
I fought fiercely with the monster
while my master shouted, "Don't!"
I fell to the ground
with a loud thud,
and my master rushed to my side
and sobbed softly.
The Lava Ghoul at last fled
and left us at peace.
But my master was not happy,
for I had been wounded.
She cried and she cried,
but nothing she could do now.
For I knew I had fulfilled my purpose,
and I told her as she wept:
"I didn't want to disobey,
but knew what I had to do.
I now know I have the bravery,
to defend love that's true."

In the Dark of the Evening By dollface_87_99

In the dark of the evening
without a trace
Acara comes out to play
with nothing to eat nor to drink
it finds its way alone.
It tries to find something to play with
but it can't,
so "Why?" Acara says.
"Why?"
It has no friends because it was just found
it ran away to its old ground
to see its friends
which weren't there.
So now its all alone
it searches till the break of dawn
but still no trace of anyone.
In the bright of the morning
Acara is still alone.
Will it find its way home?
