4th October - Grarrl Day!
- The new Caption Contest has been
launched... can you think of something witty for this rather bizarre image?
- Some new Greetings Cards
have been added including many Get Well Soon messages.
- Can you beat Thargrin the two-headed Grarrl in this week's Better Than You???
- Possibly the cutest looking Grarrl plushies you have ever seen have just gone on sale in the
Toy Shop!
- BREAKING NEWS - In perhaps the biggest sting operation in Neopian history, Chia Police have frozen the accounts
of over 3,000 Neopians, seizing well over 100,000,000 NP in assets. All the offenders were charged with
creating multiple accounts to play the Snowager, Shrine, Tombola and other similar games. Please dont do it, it unbalances
the game and makes it unfair to others!!!!
- Be sure to stop by the Book Shop today,
there are some new Grarrl books in stock!
- Grarrls will get FREE TRAINING at the Swashbuckling Academy
all day, thanks to the supreme generosity of Cap'n Threelegs.
- Now your Grarrl can squish those puny opponents with a stunning set of
Battledome items, on sale in the Defence and Battle Magic Shops now!
- NOTE : When buying items from the shops, if you are too greedy and attempt to buy too many then you will
get locked out for half an hour. The main reason for doing this is to stop those people who use autobuyers to get items from shops.
We have also fixed the bug where an error saying 'Please link from the Neopets site' would come up, it won't any more.
- Now you can have a wide variety of Grarrls to choose from as your Shopkeeper!
- You can now paint your Grarrl Brown and
Rainbow!
- In honour of this special day, Grarrls now have three special
Battledome Moves -
Grarrl Stomp, Grarrl Glare and
Grarrl Fire Breath!

- Three more onion-related foods are now available in the Food Shop.
- The Rainbow Pool can now paint your Kiko like a Skunk!!!
- Don't forget today is Half Price Day which means its the perfect time
to stock up on all those foods and toys you have been meaning to buy :)
- Oops! There was a bug that meant if you painted your petpet a colour and then stopped playing with it,
it would revert to the old colour. This is fixed now. If your Kadoatie is Yellow, it will be Yellow forever!
- Yellow Petpet Paintbrushes are now available, and we have also released three more cool Petpet colour combinations!

- Friday's Poetry Contest is going to be
about Petpets, so please send in your Petpet poems today! :)
- We have a new Mystery Pic competition. The
answer to Friday's competition was 'The Shelf behind Balthazar'. Win this weeks competition and you get a

- Edna the Witch has just arrived in the Battledome.
She has a few suprises up her sleeve.... so beware! She will only come out of her tower to fight you during the Witching Hour...
- We have added some more Poems to our
Poetry Gallery!
- Balthazar, evil faerie hunter and deliverer of much beating in the Battledome now has his own
Neopedia Article.
- The Krawk Cup Deckball Championship prizes
have been given out. If you voted for Mr. Roboto you will win 5,000 NP plus a one-of-a-kind trophy for
your user lookup!

- Keep your eyes open, there are three different Petpet Paint Brushes lurking around the site... plus
they will be given out as prizes throughout the week!
- Good news for Korbat lovers, now you can have a Korbat as your Shopkeeper :)
- Nine more budding artists have their images displayed in our
Art Gallery!
- PETPET PAINTBRUSHES - Yes, you can now paint your Petpet different colours by visiting the
Petpet Puddle!!! We are busy adding more combinations,
but here is a sample of the colours you can paint your petpet so far. You will need to find a
Petpet Paintbrush first however!
- Two more Hidden Tower items are now available, the Zaptwig and Little Timmy's Slingshot.
- REMINDER : We have said not to use multiple accounts on a regular basis, and this is another warning. People who set
up accounts simply to use the Snowager, Tombola, Fruit Machine, Shrine and more are cheating, and will be
frozen. Please don't do it, Neopets is not a game where the person who can create the most accounts is the winner.
We don't mind you having accounts that you actually use for guilds, storage, galleries, but creating multiple, fake
accounts simply to gain Neopoints is just not on.
- Now on each restock we have slightly increased the number of items that will be added to each shop.
- We have added the Purple Kougra to the Rainbow Pool!

released. Congratulations to Shimi81 who won the last competition.
- A glitch in the matrix caused this week's Editorial
to appear blank. It's fixed now!
- Be sure to stop by the
Toy Shop when you get a chance, some new
Zafara plushies have just come in!
- Mails that are being sent out from the site are currently being very slow, so if your requested password
or auction mails don't get to you, then please be patient. Thanks!
- The prizes for the Hidden Tower Giveaway have now been awarded. If you didn't win anything, don't
worry we will have more competitions soon!
