14th and 15th September
- The latest issue of the Neopian Times is now live!
Packed full of stories, comics and articles, its a great way to start your weekend off with a bang :)
Meep!
- We changed it so that message boards don't get auto-deleted as fast as they used to. We put a time limit
on them to save our database (and the sanity of our monitors), but it isn't long enough, especially on
General Chat.
- Three extremely rare Haunted Woods stamps have been added to the Stamp Album,
including a foil stamp, a holographic stamp, and this one that seems to have a rather bizarre misprint.
Fifteen quid for a stamp?!?!
- Usuki Frenzy and Dubloon Disaster
now come with 50% extra Neopoints! We do monitor the average Neopoints given per game, and these two
were amongst the lowest.
- Now we will be removing Neopets that have had their owners frozen from the
Book Award and the Gourmet Club,
it's only fair really.
Friday the 13th - Techo Day
- For anyone who missed out getting a Doglefox, Babaa, or
Noil plushie last month,
Claire's
is restocking all of their US stores this week!!
- Not only is today Friday the 13th - oooooh spooky, but it is Techo day! Look out for
lots of new Techo related things being added throughout the day :)
- The Bakery, Food Shop and Chocolate Factory are getting into the swing of things and
have released some new Techo related goodies.
- Awww.... the ickle Baby Techo is just sooooooo cute!
Goo Goo Ga Ga
- Techos now have three new Battledome Moves -
Techo Slam, Techo Leap and
Techo Slide.
- The new Mystery Pic has just gone up - the answer to
the last one was 'The Doorknob of the Haunted House' from our incredibly hard
Haunted House game. That was supposed to be hard to get :(
- You can now paint your Techo Shadow and
Rainbow
at the Rainbow Pool.
- Oops! The Zafara Rogue wasn't actually activated, we have fixed this now - sorry about that :)
- A new super rare petpet has gone on sale in
Ye Olde Petpets - the Turmac!
- If your Neopet wants to read some new Techo themed novels you should
head to the Book Shop.
Five new books have just gone on sale.
- Today's Pet Spotlight goes to Atriayu a mutant Techo
who isn't as bad as he makes out.
- Turn your Techo into a Battledome champion with this fantastic battle set. Available
in the battle and defence magic shops now!
- Make sure you take your Techo to see Cap'n Threelegs today. If you pop by his Swashbuckling Academy,
he will give your Techo training for free.

- Give a warm welcome to Brack the Halloween Babaa that just can't get enough pumpkin cookies!
Brack belongs to o_JoJo_o and is the winner of this week's Petpet Spotlight.
- With all this talk of a war that is brewing you really can't afford to not equip your Neopet with one of these
basic, yet hard wearing battledome sets.
- We have a couple of problems with Neohomes, so if yours vanishes of the face of Neopia, don't worry
about it, it will be fixed soon!
- The next Stamp Album page is going to be
Haunted Woods. We have added three stamps to start you off!
- Now we have a Mystery Island Kougra! Even though they are naturally
found on the island, some prefer to dress in more traditional costume.
- Three new swords have been added to the Battle Supplies
shop in the Lost Desert.
- Today's Mystery Pic has gone live. The answer to

been announced.

has been added to the main shops map.

- Welcome to a new week on Neopets! We did 474,435,000 pageviews over the weekend which beat the weekend before!!
YEAH!!! Ok so it may not be the most interesting news, but it makes us happy :) When we launched the site in 1999 we were doing 5,000 a day.

- The Book Shop has some new books in stock that are all about Draiks.
- If you are lucky enough to own a Draik, make sure you take them to see Cap'n Threelegs at his
Swashbuckling Academy today. He will be giving free training to
any Draik that stops by.
- Draiks can now be painted Striped and Fire at the
Rainbow Pool.
- There are some new Draik Day themed foods on sale in the Bakery, Chocolate Factory and the Main
Food Shop.
- A new Caption Contest has just been launched.
