- The latest Neopian Times has just been launched.
As always you can look forward to lots of great new stories, articles, comics and adventures :)
27th June - Acara Day (well nearly)
- SITE PROBLEMS - We are having a few problems with our servers today, so the site will be slower
than usual. We hope to get it fixed as soon as possible.
- If you own an Acara you would be pleased to know they have three new
Battledome Abilities -
Acara Dunk, Acara Squirt and
Acara Tsunami.
- Acaras can now be painted Ghost and
Plushie!
- All the people who completed a Fountain Faerie quest would have found the
Rainbow Fountain non-operational. This has been
fixed now!
- The Art Gallery has a new
Acara Day special on display and it features an awful lot of Vira pictures!
- Today's Pet Spotlight award goes to
an Acara called Shin_pin.
- There are some delicious new Acara day foods including a couple of
truly gourmet delights!
- As Acara Day isn't officially until Saturday,
Cap'n Threelegs will be giving Acaras free
training for all of today and tomorrow.
- Get your Acara ready for the Battledome with this stylish new set of equipment.
It is available at the
Battle
and Defence
magic shops.
- There are some new Acara themed Poems in the gallery.
- Show everyone how great you think Acaras are with these cute new
Buddy Icons.
- As always the Book Shop
has some new Acara themed books on sale.
26th June
- There are some new pictures in the Art Gallery.
- Oops! We had a problem with the Faerie Quests not giving out prizes, this has been fixed now, sorry
about that!
- From the 5th of July you will be able to get hold of this rare Striped Kacheek
plushie at Limited Too!!!
- We increased the frequency of Fountain Faerie Quests and have made the items she asks
for slightly less rare.
- Hahaha lol. This is the real Cybunny (as if you didn't know we were joking.) We will upload
the rest of the colours over the next few days!
- Today's Better Than You features no other than
Hubrid Nox. Part vampire. Part warlock. ALL FEAR.
- The Toy Shop
has some new Spotted, Disco, Electric and Fire Zafara plushies on sale.
- This week's Neoadventure Spotlight award goes to
Rinheartilly for their adventure - L'arc-en-ciel. (that means 'the rainbow' in French in
case you didn't know).
- We have some new Collectable Cards
featuring Commander Garoo and Grarrl Keno. You can also get the Commander Garoo
image as a Desktop Background!
- We will be celebrating Acara Day a little early this year by starting the festivities on Friday.
This means if you want your Acara pictures, poems, and spotlights to be chosen you need to send them
in today.
- Now you can paint your Gelert SPOTTED!!!
- Todays' Site Spotlight award goes to

25th June
- Loads of the maps around the site have been updated - so if you previously couldn't find
something on a map, it's most probably there now.
- NEW CYBUNNY - Yes a lot of people have been asking for us to redraw our Cybunny, and we are proud to announce that
we have finally done so! Here is the new Cybunny - this one just got painted with the Pink Paint Brush!
- The latest Petpet Spotlight award winner is
Theodore the Bilguss who belongs to May_4545.
- By popular demand there are now four new Ixi themed books on sale in the
Book Shop.
- The new Mystery Pic has been released! The answer to the last one
was 'The Find Out More button in the Multiplayer Lobby'.
- Meercas are the latest pet to be attacked by the Baby Paint Brush!
- The Clothes Shop owner has had a makeover!
- Christmas, Mutant, Jelly and Valentine Chia plushies now rip whenever a Lupe plays with them.
- If you can't afford that elusive Island Paint Brush, don't despair,
Kauvara has just finished mixing up some Island Blumaroo, Gelert, Uni and Kiko
morphing potions.
- The Fountain Faerie will now appear on the site and give out a quest. I wonder
what the reward could possibly be...

- Toybox Escape should now give trophies (as
it was supposed to do!)

24th June
- Early today we lost contact with a diver off the coast of Neopia Central. The poor diver went down to try
and find some clues about what really happened to Maraqua. After 20 minutes, when the rope was pulled
up all that remained was a tattered diving suit, and a camera containing one horrifying photo...
It's not safe to go into the water!
- THE RAINBOW FOUNTAIN is back! Click here
to visit the fountain, and see if you are lucky enough to take your Neopet for a quick swim (you never know
what will happen). Currently it seems there is no magic left, but we expect it to be working again within
a couple of days... maybe!
- Ooh lookie... new Buddy Icons!
- Today's PPL has been won by the Albat! Congratulations to all the owners,
and keep up the good work!
- Sorry for totally messing up last week's Lenny Conundrum.
The answer was 8 (something to do with square numbers and the Fibonacci sequence hehe). Good luck
with this week's puzzle!
- The Faerie Quests that are given out as random events just got more interesting. The Space Faerie
will now join in and give out quests, and the reward she gives out is quite cool indeed!
- Furwitches can now be painted Red, Yellow,
Black and Blue!

- The Art Gallery has some new pictures on display.
- The Island Mystic collectable card has been updated and you can now have an Island

- Wow - it seems all the petpets that were missing have returned to their owners. I wonder where they
went... it's a shame that they can't talk :( One thing is for sure, they all seem VERY happy!

have been chosen as the latest Poetry Contest winners.
- Unis AND Kougras can now be painted with the Darigan Paint Brush!
- "Hooray! I'm here at last!" Leroy shouted merrily as he he jumped off
the boat and onto the dock. He drew in a deep breath, basking in the
wonderful smell of the island air. After all those years living in the
