8th and 9th May
- Fun things to do on a Saturday Morning #1 - Recode Restocks! Yeah,
we know that there have been problems with the restocks lately. It was basically
due to it not being able to handle the number of different items that exist in Neopia.
So the way it works has been completely rewritten and the following changes have been made...
- Restocks now happen roughly one more time per hour
- Slightly more of each type of item will go in each shop (more noticeably between rarity 65 and 85)
- The absolute minimum price of an item has been changed from 20 NP to 50 NP
- Items over rarity 90 now have a minimum price of 5,000 NP
- Prices of all items have been upped a little (inflation!)
- We found a bug where certain item types (like Petpets and weapons) had a really low chance of restocking,
that has been fixed now!
- Rarity 99 items are now 20% less likely to appear :)
- UPDATE - Rarity 100 items can be stocked, but are 5 times less likely
to appear than 99s! We will add more of these items soon as there are
not currently that many.
7th May
- Well we told you we were planning something extra-special for this
summer, and we can finally announce what it is! Yes, Neopets are going to be appearing
in McDonalds® Happy Meals® starting on the 28th of May!
In each special Neopets Happy Meal box you will find one of 105
different Neopets Plushies (Fifteen species in four basic colours plus three
Paint Brush colours!) You will also find one of 15 never-seen before Neopets TCG cards.
Best of all there is going to be a New Neopet (but that's all pretty
hush-hush at the moment.) We will release more information about the promotion
soon so keep checking new features!

work :( We have fixed the now and added some of the latest games to the list.
- If you are trying to create the perfect coconut bathroom, you will need to get hold of a
Coconut Toilet!
- The new Mystery Pic has just
been released. The answer to the last one was 'Trouble at the National Neopian Play Button'.
- We have updated the look of the Abominable Snowball, and they can now be painted Red
and Spotted at the Rainbow Pool.
- It looks like some of the new Striped JubJub plushies have sneaked into the latest
Caption Contest...

Kreludor
- What is Kreludor you ask? It is Neopia's moon of course, home to a large colony of
Orange Grundos and lots more... Click here to visit.
It was recently discovered due to its orbit around Neopia taking it extremely
close to the Space Station!
- BATTLE FOR MERIDELL - Sorry about the lack of update. We know a lot
of you have been battling away against Lord Kass and his minions. The
next part of the plot is coming very soon.
- To start off today it seems some Orange Grundos have got hold of one of those new
picnic hampers in our new Caption Contest.
- The new Mystery Pic has just gone live! The answer
to last week's one was 'The Ssidney Ssshop Blog'.
- We have a new Better Than You contestant - Brucey B.
- The Striped, Cloud, Split and Checkered Lupes have been updated.
- Food Club is working again - hurrah!
- As you may have noticed there is a large Neocola Machine on
Kreludor. Nobody really knows how it got there, but why don't you give it a go...

- SITE UPDATE - You may have noticed that the site is running pretty fast today,
that is because we added a whole load more servers over the weekend (yes, they were
accounting for some of the glitches lately, but they are all fixed now). We hope you
all enjoy the new, faster site :)
- There is a new Desktop Background featuring the
Wheel of Excitement - Yay!
- Stop by the Art Gallery when you have a
chance and you will be impressed with all the real-life things made by other players (there are
two pages, just so you know).
- Tomorrow we will have a rather special theme in the Art Gallery all to do with Dr Sloth and
Grundos. If you have a Dr Sloth or Grundo picture you would like to share, make sure you enter.
- Starry, Skunk and Orange Lupes have been updated.
- The Furniture Shop
has some new Mootix-themed items for your home - Mootix Wardrobes, Mootix Tables and Mootix Posters.

- The Food Shop has some luxurious new Picnic Hampers
on sale. Each one comes with enough food and drink for two Neopets to share as well as a
comfy blanket to sit on (You can also put the blanket in your Neogarden when you are finished
with it).
- Today's Card of the Day is the Grundo Warehouse.
- If you redeemed your Return of Dr Sloth prize codes over the weekend, you could have won your very own
Bzzt Blaster, Sleep Ray or Virtublaster 3000. They are now fully working and ready to use in the Battledome.
- It looks like there is a some demand to look like Morris in today's
Caption Contest!
- If you didn't get a chance to make it to one of the TCG tournaments on Saturday, never fear... We have added
some photos from the tournament at Legacy, Glendale to the Neocam. Thanks
again to everyone who showed up and for Legacy for letting us invade :)
- White, Ghost, Rainbow, Fire, Silver and Glowing Lupes have just had a makeover... more Lupes
will be updated throughout the week.
- A new Story Telling contest has just begun...
Dustine sighed as she watched the wheel spend endlessly. The Wheel of Monotony sure is... monotonous, she thought to
herself. Last week, she may have found it mildly amusing, but lately Dustine just hadn't been feeling like herself.
