- Lost Desert Plot Update - The first installment of our new storyline set in the
Lost Desert is due to go live next week. You will start to see these strange scrolls around
the site. Maybe you should think about holding on to them...
- The new edition of the Neopian Times
has just been released. Look out for interesting articles such as Defence Techniques for Custard Pets and
The Art of Magma Blasting.
- This week's Neohome Spotlight award has been given to
kar1na for their lovely abode - 423948 Market Street, Neopia Central.
- There are six different Kiko Fun Images
available in four colours each to brighten up your shop, webpage or gallery.
- As a reminder, Kyrii Day is early next week. If you want a good chance of being chosen, you
should send in your pictures, poems, spotlights and galleries now.
- The Toy Shop has
managed to get hold of some rather unusual Ixi Plushies.
- If you want to find out all about Isca, there is a new Neopedia
article about her.
- Zafaras can be painted Grey and Split at the Rainbow Pool.
- There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The
answer to the last one was the MAGAX: Destroyer Playbutton. 840 people got it right, earning
2,381 NP each.
- Tasus can be painted Purple, Pink, Island and Ghost at the
Petpet Puddle.
- Mutant Onas are the latest Petpet to be added as a Sketched Background.

25th August - Mutant Day!
- You can now get your very own Dr Sloth pond, bat and ball game and hat to help celebrate
Mutant Day. After all without Dr Sloth, there would be no mutants!
- Four new plushie sets have been added to the
Official Neopets Ebay site for you
to purchase.
- Cave_creator_ed has just won the latest Neoadventure Spotlight
award with their adventure - The King of Confusion: A Logical Journey.

- This week's PPL award has been given to the Mutant Cobrall. Well done
Slithers, COBRAT, snaky, Fangs, Venom, Clarence and all the others.
- There are four new Buddy Icons
with a Mutated theme.

additions or removals of rooms, applications for land, and all sorts of nifty things.

award.
- Eww now it may be Mutant Day and all, but these are just disgusting!
- A new Lenny Conundrum competition has begun. The answer to last week's
was 40. 1,833 people guessed the correct answer earning themselves 1,092 NP and a Scratchcard Wocky Bean Bag
each.

- Many years ago things were not always peaceful for Grundos. They had been abducted from
their home planet and enslaved by the notorious Dr Sloth. Today marks the anniversary of when
Grundos were freed and came to live on Neopia.
