23rd September - Annual Gormball Championships!
- To celebrate the occasion, the Toy Shop is offering some Gormball toys for your Neopets to play with.
- Those of you who have been eagerly awaiting the results of this year's competition will be pleased to hear the Gormball Championships Neopedia has just been updated with the winners!
- Issue 209 of the Neopian Times has just been published. Articles such as The Game is Gormball and What Makes the Magic Smelly Socks Smelly? should provide any Neopian with plenty of valuable knowledge and insight.
- There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was The Mysterious Statue. 692 people got it right, earning them each 2,891 NP!
- An action-packed Gormball Background is now available for you to download.
- These new Gormball sweets, which happen to be the perfect mid-game snack, can be purchased directly from the Chocolate Factory.
- A new round of the Beauty Contest is about to begin. Vote like you've never voted before!

- A new Lenny Conundrum competition has begun. The answer to last week's
was 24,192 days. 2,304 people guessed the correct answer earning themselves 869 NP each.
- Plushies versions of those monsterous creatures attacking Sakhmet have just gone on sale in the Toy Shop. *shudder*
- This week's PPL award has been given to the Lil Frankie. Well done Hunchie, flathead, Boris, Frankenmeister, Stitches and all the others.
- The latest Site Spotlight award goes to Spookings and rahkin for their site - Spookings' Lair.
- There be a Pirate Cave Of The Week by cyberfrettchen for ye ta take a stab at, ya scalawag. YARR!
