- The newest issue of the Neopian Times has been released! Keep your eyes open for great stories and adventures like Top Ten Villains of 2010 by Dr. Frank L. Sloth and Partly Cloudy With a Chance of Adventure.
- What in Neopia are these things from the Battle Magic shop?? Oh, they are snowballs! We don't want to know how they got the way they did. They may come in handy at the Battledome, though!

14th January - Sloth Appreciation Day
- It seems oddly quiet here in the TNT office, and the air faintly smells of burnt plaster and laser fire... We can't help but think we are forgetting something important today. *shrug* Oh, well! Let's see what we have for our news.
- Oh, what's this? We looked under our main desk and found some sort of... magical potion. It must be a gift from Kauvara! We will try feeding it to one of our Neopets to see what happens.
- ARGH!!! What in the name of Xandra's missing glasses is THAT thing!? It's some sort of... mutated Acara. Why would a magic potion do something like THIS to your Neopet??
- What has happened to these poor little Petpets? The Gulper and Naalala are nearly unrecognisable in their mutated forms.
- Let us try to forget those unfortunate previous incidents with a spotlight or two. Radoznalost the Morkou has won this week's Petpet Spotlight! Congratulations!
- Today's Neohomes Spotlight winner is neemerz for their unique restaurant-themed Neohome, which is located in Virtupets Space Station.
- There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was Galactic Protein Shake. 362 people guessed correctly, earning them 5,525 NP each.
- Hmm... Now that we have seen the new cardboard cutout that is for sale at the Gift Shop, we are starting to understand what has happened here...
That's right! This is a day to appreciate all things Sloth!
- Well, we suppose if you really want, you can read all the latest Poems that are dedicated to Dr. Sloth, such as 'The Shape of Sloth's Ego' and 'The Mutated Pear?'.
- Those poor Neopets in the latest Caption Contest are being forced to celebrate Sloth--... I mean, uh, who wouldn't want to celebrate Sloth Appreciation Day?
- Blizard131 is our latest Kreludor Cave Of The Week spotlight prize winner for their level, 'Lost in the Labyrinth'!
- It seems even the Art Gallery is all about Dr. Sloth today. Yay?

Yanti should've been enjoying this. She usually loved the ocean, and today the water looked like a field of Blue Fan Flowers, all waving in the breeze, stretching out for miles in every direction. Sunlight dripped down onto the sea's restless surface, glimmers knocked gently back and forth among the water until they were beaten into a golden froth. It was a perfect day for sailing.
