22nd and 23rd March - Chomby Day
- Happy Chomby Day! Chombies can now be painted in Maractite and Camouflage colours at the Rainbow Pool.
- Celebrate Chomby Day with new Poems titles such as 'Admiral Blackbeard The Chomby' and 'All Them Chomby Crisps'!
- The next round of the Beauty Contest is about to begin. Head on over and vote for your favourite. You can also take a look at the three winners of the last round! Congratulations to Rahonel, Alexzander, and Yukinoyoru!
- Calling all gnomes! We were expecting more gnomes to turn up for this week's Random Contest deadline. We are displeased to inform you that we have not yet filled our gnome quota. If you are a gnome, please report yourself through the Random Contest entry form by next Friday, the 28th.
- The newest issue of the Neopian Times has been released! Keep your eyes open for great stories and adventures like Neopets: More than Trophies and The Downside to Being a Mallow Grundo.
- Cap'n Threelegs is offering free training to Chombies who visit him on Chomby Day.
- The Art Gallery has a great new selection of Chomby-themed artwork up for you to admire.
- Chombies can now decide between two new outfits at the Clothing Shop. Which one would you choose?
- Are you looking for a new item or two that might help round out your gallery collection? Now when you redeem a Neopets Cash Card you can receive new bonus items! These cards may be available at a retailer near you. Who knows? Maybe your bonus will be just the thing you were looking for! :)
21st March
- Those peculiar garbled messages seem to point to an abandoned location that was left hidden until today. What could be the purpose of the Portal Activation Centre? If you continue to experiment with the mysterious Control Panel, you might discover its function soon...
Meanwhile, you can also earn an NC wearable for lighting up an additional area of the Control Panel with the Moltaran Filament Lamp. If you like extra lights and prizes, then the NC Mall might be a great place to stop by before you head to Moltara!
- The Poems page has been updated with new works such as 'An Ode To My Safety Deposit Box' and 'Neopoints From The Sky'!
- Just when you thought you wouldn't find any more shrubberies, a new variant pops up at the Ugga Shinies shop! If cheery colours aren't your thing, this Deep Dark Shrubbery might be perfect for you.
This might be more to Jhudora's liking!
- There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was Kreludan Facts. 804 people guessed correctly, earning them 2,488 NP each.
- This week's Neohomes Spotlight winner cilicia_prez welcomes you to 'Faerieland Fantasy'!
- Cheria the White Weewoo has won the Petpet Spotlight this week!

20th March
- Oh no! It looks like something has gone wrong with Random Events... Perhaps there were just too many occuring at once. Maybe if we wait around, they'll go back to normal again! Meanwhile, we have heard reports of garbled messages being discovered around Neopia. They couldn't possibly be related, can they?
- The Illusen theme continues this week with yet another colour variation of the Shrubbery! Head on to the Ugga Shinies shop to check out this new wearable that is suited for autumn.

- As part of an ongoing celebration of Illusen, the Ugga Shinies shop is now offering a darker colour variant of the Shrubbery!
You can never go wrong with a shrubbery or two!
- If you're never sure what to take with you on a picnic, you might want to check out this week's Gallery Spotlight winner. 'Sandwiches Forever' is full of great lunch suggestions from kiqxxx!
- The winning User Lookup of the Week belongs to mimiosa15, for their lookup dedicated to Illusen!
- The Poems page has more new Illusen-themed titles for you to enjoy, such as 'Food From Illusen' and 'Nature's Queen'!
- It looks like the Chomby in this week's new Caption Contest image is quite excited about Chomby Day, which is coming up...

18th March - Illusen Day

Special Announcement! - Fellow Neopians, we have some big news to share. Neopets is now a member of the JumpStart family! We're sad to be leaving our home here at Nickelodeon Games. It's been almost nine years of fun and slime and we'll miss everyone dearly. (We love you guys!) But we're also very excited to be joining our new friends over at JumpStart!
Who is JumpStart? What does this mean for Neopets? Where did that one sock go? There's too much for us to answer here in New Features, so for more information please check out this FAQ. We hope it answers some of your more pressing questions about the acquisition and we'll continue to update it as we have more information to share.
To celebrate this new chapter in Neopian history, we've increased the probability of Random Events for the next week because YAY FREE STUFF FOR EVERYONE. You might have also seen a new Random Event at the top of this page that includes two items: one is a going away gift from our pals at Nickelodeon Games and the second is a welcome gift from our new JumpStart cohorts. These will also be available for the next week.
Hmm... something seems oddly familiar about these plushies.
