Make some new goals. This guide will help get you started making up new goals for yourself and helping you achieve them.

15. Keep your pets healthy, happy and full for one month.

This goal is not very hard, which is why it is the first goal on this list. Your ability to do this is based mostly on amount of free time, and whether or not your pets are easily pleased.

This is also easier to do in the summer, while there is no school or homework to worry about.

14. Try not to buy anything for one week.

Doing this goal is a very hard one, but if you have the restraint it can greatly increase your funds; depending on how much shopping you do anyways. That one Battledome item or piece of clothing will still be there later and you can save up neopoints to accomplish higher goals.

Surely your pets could survive off of freebies that long?

13. Build a collection of any random item in your gallery.

This is easy if you have the neopoints available. Find something that you like, like stamps or pens, and collect them. This goal could stretch on and on, so it is up to you when to stop collecting. Also, no rush to finish this goal; if you need to go earn some money for a couple of days, it can definitely wait.

The cool thing about this goal is that when you are done, you can show off your gallery to all of your neofriends!

12. Give your pet bottled faeries.

These are fun and useful in the Battledome, and they aren’t very expensive. Find a power that you want your pet to have and slowly work towards your goal. Once you have acquired that power, you can decide on another power you like just as much and work towards it too. Or you could just decide to give your pet all of the powers and go from there.

11. Find an Avatar that you like and try to earn it.

This goal could include gaming, restocking, eating or refreshing a page. Whatever it is, once you have the avatar, you can use it whenever you want to, or you could just brag about the fact that you finally got it.

This one is especially fun if the avatar is really rare or hard to get; the more time you put into a goal, the more satisfaction you will get when it is complete.

10. Make a goal that you will take a rare item from the Snowager.

This goal will keep you busy for days, and is totally up to chance. By making this your goal, you will also spend quite a bit of time at the Healing Springs; yet when you complete it, you will feel just as content as if you had just painted your pets. Generally, any item taken from the Snowager could count as a rare item, but that is totally up to you. If you want to count a cheap fire ring as a rare item, go ahead.

9. Decide that your pet will join the Booktastic Book club.

As well as being educational for your pet, the books aren’t very expensive and the reward is daunting; a shiny trophy for your lookup. This will keep you busy for probably about a month, depending on your restocking ability!

This goal can also help improve your patience; it isn’t finished in one day unless you are a really, really good restocker!

8. Decide that for once you will understand today’s Haiku.

Besides being difficult, this is a goal that will strengthen your poetic side. While there isn’t a monetary or tangible award for completing this goal, you will definitely feel satisfied. Though usually they don’t make very much sense, they always have a purpose. This goal will take about a day or two, or three or four or five... shall we move on?

7. Try to catch the smugglers in their cove.

This goal will keep you busy for quite a while; impossible to tell when you will catch them. It actually all depends on how much time you have to be on the computer; and whether or not you think that something else is more important. There isn’t a reward for this one either; but it is something that most Neopians can’t say that they have done.

Maybe you could even buy something from them, something that will remind of this moment? Or maybe you will just buy something cheap and resell it for an outrageous price, either one.

6. Look for the Hidden Tower.

This goal is hard; mostly because of the fact that the Hidden Tower is invisible! When I first started to play on Neopets, this was one of my goals, and I spent several weeks trying to find it, but when I finally did, my satisfaction was without bounds. For some people, finding the Hidden Tower is easy; some others never do. Most of the items in the Hidden Tower are too expensive for the average Neopian, but you can still say that you found it.

5. Create a guild.

This is fun, creating your own online club! Make a catchy, snazzy name for it; base it on something you enjoy, like writing, drawing, entering in contests, or anything else that you like. Then watch your club grow! This is especially fun if you can think of something weird to have a club about, like potato counting or playing games that only start with ‘R’.

4. Decide to level up your pet once in anything.

This goal is not the easiest to achieve; it is expensive, and takes a while, but is a very good goal to have if your pet is a Battledomer. You can increase any one thing or you can increase them all. In the end, your pet will stand out on your lookup because of their physical abilities, and while that is good, remember that this goal can be done again and again and again...

3. Make a goal that you will have the best shop in all of Neopia!

Well, maybe not the best shop, but try to make your shop popular. Have a colorful, musical shop that attracts the average Neopian, while having a selection of items that appeals to as many people as possible. Then make sure that you have the right amount of publicity and the right prices for shop wizard shoppers.

This goal could take days, months, maybe even a year, but it is definitely worth the hard work.

2. Decide to paint all of your pets and their petpets.

This goal is one of the hardest goals because of the neopoints involved. This could take months of non-stop gaming and restocking your shop, but when all is said and done, this goal is one of the best Neopets goals you could accomplish! If you have already painted your pets, then just do the second half of this goal. Your pets will be pretty with petpets to match, and others will stop at your lookup and decide that they want to do the same.

1. Try to get into the Neopian Times!

I labeled this goal as the hardest because of the amount of time and effort needed to be put forth in order to become one of those great writers who inspire all of Neopia with their ideas and stories. This goal could take you a lifetime, but when it is complete, you will feel the ultimate ability to complete any other goal that you could ever have on Neopets. While this is the hardest neopets goal I can possibly write about, this is by far the most rewarding!
