 Petpet Name: Sugar ♥ Snap Owner: carrotopian Pet Name: jensen_choonseng Breed: Grackle Trap About Sugar ♥ Snap: “Raindrops on Noses and Blisters on Kittens " (Sugar ♥ Snap the Grackle (von) Trap’s Favourite Things) By Keith the Fleaf (his astonishingly articulate Petpetpet) Sugar ♥ Snap is a Grackle Trap; a retired Spooky Petpet with an irrational fear of Grembles. No disrespect to Grembles, who are in actuality quite creepy in their own right but, if Sugar ♥ Snap were to be detached from Choon (jensen_choonseng) he would become a Gremble and I can assure you, he would not like that; no, not one little bit! Grembles give Sugar ♥ Snap the trembles. Fact. Sugar ♥ Snap spends most of his day resting in his specially constructed ‘Pot Pod’ which contains a mixture not dissimilar to orchid compost; bark, sphagnum moss (not to be confused with sphagnum bolognese, the famous Spaghetti Tree fertilizer), charcoal and Korbat Guano (Sugar ♥ Snap is immensely fond of Korbats and is secretly hoping that Choon will be zapped into one – shh!) Sugar ♥ Snap created his special ‘Pot Pod’ mix himself and spent a great deal of time researching the perfect balance, so that he can stay in tip-top shape. In fact, Sugar ♥ Snap has very green thumbs, or at least he would have if indeed, he had any thumbs but he does have stubby bud-hands and they are green so whatever – talk to the leaf. Either way, he is quite the horticulturalist and this would explain his excellent choice of Petpetpet. His favourite plants though are Geraptiku Fly Traps (all varieties), because they look like him (narcissistic, much?) /short pause whilst the shameless plant pun sinks in/ Sugar ♥ Snap spent a lot of time in the library, carrying out his important manure studies but he enjoys a good read in his leisure time as well; his favourite book seems to be Meepit Carols which is a mystery to everyone since for starters, he cannot speak, never mind sing (he just snaps his…um…lips and makes gurgling noises). Furthermore, considering that he has no discernable eyes then how, to all intents and purposes, he manages to digest the written word is manifestly mind-boggling. However, the life of a Grackle Trap is not all about lazing around in manure and, as soon as dusk falls, he becomes very active indeed; flip-flapping around behind Choon, on his stumpy root flippers, begging for nibbles. I generally scuttle alongside him but I take care to stay alert as although I know Sugar ♥ Snap loves me, I wouldn’t put it past him to consider me a tasty menu item, either. Sugar ♥ Snap’s favourite snacks are Grackle Bugs (d’oh) and their derivative products (except Burnt Grackle Bug on a Stick and Scorched Grackle-Stuffed Turkey; he has quite enough charcoal in his ‘Pot Pod’ already). The one thing that really gets on Sugar ♥ Snap’s pip though is that he had no description. Now he must have had one once, goodness only knows what he did with it. I wonder if he could have inadvertently eaten it. No, surely not. Perhaps TNT knows where it is; we should try bribery: 'Sugar ♥ Snap! Look cute and appealing, NOW!'... Sugar ♥ Snap growls menacingly. 'Sugar ♥ Snap! Look cute and appealing, NOW!'... Sugar ♥ Snap growls really menacingly!!! 'Sugar ♥ Snap! You’re doing it WRONG!'... Sugar ♥ Snap smacks his…um…lips at TNT! *headdesk* We may never know…
