 Petpet Name: Dusty Owner: prkoneko Pet Name: Coroteia Breed: Christmas Pile of So About Dusty: Hello there. My name is Coroteia, but you can call me Teia. And this is Dusty. He's a Christmas Pile of Soot. Amazing. I can tell you now, I wasn't too chuffed to get a pile of soot as a petpet. Never mind one that had come from the Advent Calender. One that everyone in Neopia received. But I suppose it's better than nothing, right? You may have noticed that I am painted Christmas. This was because of the Advent Calender, and all my clothes are from the Advent Calender. Sometimes I think that my owner is getting a bit cheap, but I know that it's just because she's got a goal. She wants all of her pets to be Christmas coloured in time for the big day. I'm painted and Coraleila is painted too. Mom bought that brush a couple of days ago. She's already half-way to the next one. All she does is play Key Quest. I want to play Key Quest. But Mom tells me to go play with my petpet. There's nothing much you can do with a pile of soot. I can put him in his hat to carry him around, if I have to. I have to scoop him up every time we want to move, though. I wonder just what's keeping those eyes in place. There isn't much of a body there. When I'm really bored, I get him wet, like a paste, and make things out of him, like a Poppit or a Turmac. But he always dries out, and turns back into a Pile of Soot. And I think he kind of likes it, being a different petpet. It's hard to tell what a pile of soot is thinking. Coraleila gets to have a Peo as her petpet. Hotaru has a Baby Fireball. Chou has a Juma. Petpets that suit their personality. I have a pile of soot. Wow. Aren't I living the glamourous life. But there is something I'd like to admit while I'm here. Just a teensy little thing. I mean, I know I moan about everything to do with my petpet. And I know I kind of abuse him. But without Dusty... I'd be kind of alone. I used to think of myself as the lone ranger. I guess being painted Christmas has opened up my goodwill. Look at him now. Curled up asleep. Hey wait... where's his eyes gone? "Oh, Teia, I found these rolling around. Aren't these Dusty's?" That was my sister, Chou. Yup. You guessed it. I rammed Dusty's eyes back into his powdery body. Yeah, I really do abuse him. But I guess I love him really. That's what you're meant to do with a petpet, right, love them? So, I have to say this. In front of everyone. Here goes... I'm looking forwards to spending Christmas with Dusty, the greatest Petpet in the World.
