 Petpet Name: Ladybelle Owner: lunabellebabe Pet Name: Sheakyr Breed: Plushie Angelpuss About Ladybelle: Have you ever mixed up a plushie and a plushie Petpet before? I bet you have. It's really inconvenient how similar we look to actual plushies. We're both super cute and soft, and nice to hug. Well, I happen to be an example of a classic plushie Petpet mix-up. My name is Ladybelle, and this is the story of how I ended up stuck high up on a shelf full of plushies. Looking back it was a crazy adventure, and I should be fortunate that it happened. But at the time it was unexpected and frightening. I was playing with my friends in the Petpet Shop when some silly Neopian plucked me out of my cozy bed and carried me off. It turned out to be that Cybunny shopkeeper from Plushie Palace.She was browsing through Neopia Central and thought I had been misplaced. So there I was, on a shelf surrounded by giant plushies. I'm lucky I didn't fall off; not that it would have hurt, since I am filled with fluff. So I sat there for days. It was hard to move because there was this giant red Chia plushie in front of me. We became quick friends. I would mew, and he would look at me with those sweet sewn-on eyes. For days no one noticed my mewing or that I was in the wrong place. I was lonely; I missed my Petpet pals. Finally I curled up in a little plushie ball and fell fast asleep. When I woke up, I heard an excited voice commenting on how many plushies there were. "Look at that one! Oh please, oh please, can I get this Chia plushie? He's so soft." All I could hear was this exuberant voice begging for a new plushie. I opened my eyes, and suddenly my friend the red Chia was gone. I blinked twice and saw a pair of big black eyes staring right back at me. They belonged to a red Shoyru. He looked surprised to see me. "Hey, little guy. What are you doing here? You must be hungry." I was. He was right. I let out a soft mew of gratitude. "If you stay very still, I can pass you off as a plushie. Okay?" I nodded shyly. Then I became as limp as any plushie and was gently taken off the shelf. He held me close, and for the first time in days I felt happy. He paid for me and we left. My new home was wonderful. I had my own Petpet bed, and balls and balls of yarn to paw around. The best thing of all was my new owner. Sheakyr was the kindest Shoyru I had ever met! We became best friends. Even though I was sad and lonely up on that plushie shelf, if they hadn't put me there I would have never ended up here. And this is right where I want to be.
