All that is written on the front cover is "Pan's Book." Wow, she doesn't sound terribly creative. Surely the owner wouldn’t mind if you just took a quick peek before returning it. 19th day of Collecting: Early Morning Every once in a while, I find myself lost in a wave of nostalgia while I’m left alone without anything to distract me during the day. I think back to a simpler time before a lot of these situations became, needless to say... complicated. 19th day of Collecting: Late Morning Uugh! Klyven must have managed to do something ridiculous to aggravate me and go against my wishes. Again. I am normally not this depressing to listen to, honest! Exactly how many times does it take for one of his caliber to actually GET it? More blunderer than trickster, I say. I suppose I was mistaken in thinking he would be able to continue making some form of marked progress all this time after that last incident. Sometimes I wonder if I would be better off counseling a Slorg. Or better yet, a ROCK. Yes, I believe my time would not only be better spent, but it would still have heightened listening skills compared to SOME. *at this you begin rapidly flipping through some pages; her penmanship seems to get worse as she's venting* 20th day of Collecting: Noon Pheew! I went off on a tangent there for a minute; glad I got that out of my system. My stress levels have gone back down to normal now, so back to business as usual. Klyven appears to be slightly more distracted lately; he’s been keeping a particularly watchful eye over Shenkuu. I have not been able to pinpoint exactly what or who has been the (un?)lucky one that has caught his interest. I can only hope he isn't about to attempt hatching one of his *Petpetpet species*-brained ideas again. As long as it doesn't directly involve me, having to deal with another one of those incidents would end up not boding well at all for either of us. Now that I think about it, I actually hope that he comes to me first; I am not fond of surprises. 21st day of Collecting: Noon Oh dear, I somehow ended up oversleeping! This certainly doesn't bode well. Trying to maintain my presence here has most certainly taken a toll on my strength. Even as I write this, I still find myself rubbing my eyes, feeling groggy. I still have yet to hear a word from Klyven. I believe I am beginning to feel a little apprehensive. Nothing to it, I suppose. I'll just go back to sleep for a while. I am certain he will summon me if needed... zzzz. 23rd day of Collecting: Evening Oh, is it daytime already? I feel as though I've slept better than I have in a good long while. I also found out later that Klyven finally finished whatever business it was he was tending to in the first place. He seemed to be withholding certain information, but said he would reveal it "all in due time." I WILL find out what it is... after I take care of this thoughtful gift in the form of a Chocolate Covered Toffee. After all, it would be rude of me to not enjoy such an extravagant gift.
