 Pet Name: August_Bells Owner: shehadaname1 Breed: Xweetok About August_Bells: Oh, hi there! I've no time for chit-chatting: things to do, you know. What? I'm supposed to tell people about myself? How is that going to get me anywhere? Well alright, I guess I can talk for a couple minutes, but then I really must be off. My name is August_Bells, but you can just call me August. I'm a very busy Xweetok: I have to be. I live with my best friends, Matt and Forty, and I love them dearly, but they usually aren't much help in getting things done. I work at the Faerieland Employment Agency to earn us money, and also visit the Training School to improve my performance in the Battledome. When I have spare time, I read books. I love learning about the world, and going out to see it! When I was very young, I was a Red Xweetok. I liked that colour, but when I found a pair of Stained Glass Wings, I really wanted to wear them. They were beautiful and I adored them, but they clashed horribly with my red fur so I used a Blue Paint Brush to change my colour. I was a Blue Xweetok for a long time. When I started working at the Employment Agency, though, I began to feel self-conscious of my plain fur and fake wings. I would watch all the Faerie Neopets go by, and I was so jealous of them. Delicate wings that could take them soaring through the sky, beautiful colours, and gorgeous markings I wished I could have, too. Every night, I dreamed of being painted Faerie. Time passed, and many things happened. I met the Fountain Faerie not once, but multiple times. I did quests for her, and she offered me the chance to get a new colour. Almost any one I could imagine! But I saw how badly my dearest friends wanted certain colours, so I let them swim in the Rainbow Fountain in my place. They were so thrilled with their new appearances; I didn't regret my decisions at all. During Christmastime last year, Xweetoks were finally able to be painted Christmas! I wanted a change, so I bought a paint brush and visited the Rainbow Pool. It's not a fancy colour, but for now, it suits me. I am no longer preoccupied with being painted Faerie, and I've stopped wearing my wings. I like it here, on the ground. I like to work, I like to fight, I like to read. I like to be myself, and be with my friends. They don't care about what colour I am, even though they have expensive paints. I've accomplished a lot, and I'm proud of myself. I am looking for a new colour now, though. Having the same look for a long time gets boring! Not Faerie, but perhaps Desert. Desert Xweetoks have such remarkable red eyes; they remind of me of what I started out as. I'm patient, though: I'm still searching for the perfect paint. I'll find it eventually. Well, look at me, rambling on. And look at the time! I have jobs to do, and I can't be late for work. I really must go, but I do hope we meet again!
