Standing before you is a dragon with an immensely furious expression. He also has floppy ears! Like some sort of mixed rabbit-dragon! How cute! You coo at the squishy little creature, complimenting the sheen of his spikes and the sleekness of his tail. Unfortunately your approval only seems to anger him. You stifle a giggle as he wanders around the ground, stomping on grass and startling armies of mootix. As he turns, you spot wings that are far too small to lift something even as minute as him. You let out the slightest of "Awws" and he spins swiftly. The death glare he shoots you is ineffective as he began to speak simultaneously. Or squeak, rather. Squeak. Squeak. Squeak. Unable to control yourself, you laugh.

It is evident that the dragon has grown tired of your adoration. His squeaks begin to grow lower in tone and his body shakes with the rapidity of a chihuahua. Even faster now! Perhaps you should not have spoken that last comparison aloud. You begin to retreat just as a strike of lightning flashes and an ear-splitting roar bursts forth.

Uh oh.
You are momentarily blinded due to eruptions of ash and the falling remnants of a burning forest. It's a miracle you're still all in one piece. As the smoke subsides your neck is forced upwards, attempting to view the entirety of a massive silhouette. It seems that the tiny squeaking cutie you had quickly grown to love has grown to the size of a redwood tree. You back away slowly, babbling apologies far too quiet for him to hear. He continues to grow, his head raking the clouds and unsettling several flocks of Pteri. Perhaps, you think to yourself, now would be a good time to leave. So you begin to walk backwards—and your stomach drops as you feel a twig snap beneath your feet. You find yourself reflected in coal. His stare is unwavering. Your senses are hit all at once. Your nose is filled with the scent of burnt wood. Your eyes begin to tear from smoke and fear. His growls resonate within your core and you fall, shocked into losing your balance. What a predicament. Perhaps this was a mistake...
