 Pet Name: Jaru Owner: chantili_doce Breed: Draik About Jaru: Heyoo! I'm Jaru, a Maraquan Draik, though I don't live in Maraqua because I'm a nomad along with my friend Sydiana, who's a very special Water Faerie. Both of us can't resist to stay at the same place, we like to explore the ocean and help creatures when we see in danger. Faeries help Neopets, and I take trips with my Faerie to help save even more Neopets. The sea is marvelous, but it's dangerous too. Why and how am I even friends with a Faerie like Sidyana? How did we meet? Well, it happened a long, long time ago, I barely remember my mother's face, I was still a baby! All I can remember is feeling that she took a new path while swimming in the open sea and a dark creature soon attacked us - it must have been a territorialist monster - and pulled us with its tentacles to the depths of the ocean. My angel (oops) Sidyana was the only one nearby brave enough to help: she pulled the mini-me out of the monster's grip with much difficulty, since the creature was strong and stubborn. I felt safe with her arms around me, and that was when she looked into my eyes and sweetly said : - Calm down, little fella! I have a feeling that your mom is now swimming with the angels in Heaven, but I'll stay with you. I'll stay to protect you from anything. Mini-me was confused, but that day I simply hugged her back and everything that happened after that turned out to be okay. Today she still cares for me as if I'm still a child. She says I'm her Lucky Dragon because I'm always near to help her in dangerous situations. In fact, she's my best friend and I'm glad to be able to protect her as well! Sidyana is very special to me, unfortunately, some people don't like her skin color, but we don't care about that!! To me, she's the sweetest of the angels! Her wavy hair is as soft and fluid as the water, and her eyes are as shiny as the sun above the ocean's surface. She's gentle and straightforward, I'm sure her heart is even bigger than the ocean! Some rude Jetsams bully me for being "some Faerie's pet" and "too old to have a babysitter" when I'm actually honored to be her Neopet!! With her company, I became so happy that I wag my tail like a Doglefox. She tickles me sometimes, we play together and my best awake moments are when I'm swimming with my Faerie! I see Sidyana as both my friend and my mother and I know she knows I'll always be grateful for all she did for me! Thank you, Sidyana, for being a great mom! ❤
