They used to be brown, because I was a Mutant before. What a difference, eh?

I can fly with them, and one day, I flew away from the mountain I lived on.

It was a lonely mountain, somewhere between the Haunted Woods and the Lost Desert.

I visited Krawk Island, Terror Mountain, Kiko Lake, Mystery Island, ... I was pretty happy, but I kept getting insects flying into my eyes. o_o

After all of my lonely flights, I landed in the middle of Neopia, right next to the Rainbow Pool. I was totally exhausted, so I didn't even notice the girl that was standing next to the pool. She was talking to a Korbat, and she didn't look really happy.

'I told you Moehogs couldn't be painted pink, Darth! What am I supposed to do with this paint brush now?!'

The moehog sighed and said: 'Stop yelling! People are looking! You will ruin my evil reputation! Just donate it to the money tree, put it in your safety deposit box or...or paint that revolting looking Scorchio over there!'

I did look rather unattractive, after 2 days of flying without any sleep.

The girl looked up, and stared right at me.

I stared back, and we stood there for a couple of moments, just looking at each other.

Than, the expression on her face changed, and she smiled.

She walked up to me and said: 'Hello, my name is Penny. '

'Kav, nice to meet you. ' I replied.

'The case is... I need to get rid of this paintbrush, because evil little Darth told me to buy it for him, but now it turns out he can't be painted that color. So, if you want to...you can use it. I can't take it home with me, my bag is too full. '

She waited patiently until I answered.

I was doubting a bit... You don't get the chance to be painted pink everyday, but maybe it wouldn't fit me. I was male, remember?

The Moehog, Darth, was becoming nervous and when I wasn't looking, he sneaked up behind me ... and threw the paintbrush to my head!

My head was covered in pink paint!

'Now, we cannot leave you like that, no?' Darth grinned, and he painted me completely.

I was pink.

While Penny was getting really angry at her pet, I smiled.

I was looking at myself in the Rainbow Pool, and saw that I was quite beautiful actually!

'I like it a lot. Thank you!'

Do you want to come home with us, Kav?' asked Penny, with a hopeful glance in her eyes.

I didn't hesitate, because it was a long time ago since I had been in a warm home, with friendly people. I never left after that day.
