The tip of his tail was flicking back and forth like mad, and the old scarf that hung around him looked rather pathetic, as if it were made by an owner who had no idea what they were doing. "Yo. My name is KangarooCommander. That's it. No nickname, no hidden meaning- I was just made by a guy who liked kangaroos," the Bori said flatly, shrugging his shoulders. "I mean, it's not like I actually know anything about kangaroos anyway. "Jas adopted me from the pound on the same day she came to Neopia. She told me it was only because my name made her laugh. Real nice, huh? I guess you could say I've been her tour guide as she gets to know the place. It's very fun, and every day is its own sort of adventure. We've traveled all over the place, flying kites at Kiko Lake and playing Tug of War in the Lost Desert. The best vacation so far has been our trip to Krawk Island. We learned how to steer a ship, and Jas let me play a few rounds of Bilge Dice. Of course I wound up coming home a few thousand neopoints poorer, but I didn't mind. It's all about the experience. There are so many wonderful places in Neopia..." KangarooCommander continued, giggling to himself before shrugging his shoulders again. "We have been almost everywhere except Shenkuu. Jas says we can go there after we learn how to eat with chopsticks. However, that might take a while, what with the claws and everything. "Jas and I live up on top of Terror Mountain, which is no easy thing to do. We used to have to shovel our way out of our front yard every morning through the snow. That got old pretty quick, especially when you are shoveling with your paws. We wound up learning how to snowboard. It cuts our traveling time in half. I have even entered some competitions. Boarding also makes it easier to get away from the Snowager in a hurry..." He flung his scarf carelessly over his shoulder. "Anyways, as freezing as it is up there, our house is pretty cozy. Nothing fancy, of course. We can't have nice things because of Fishy." The Bori rolled his eyes. "Fishy is my Cuttlebot, also known as the worst investment ever made. He leaks oil everywhere, constantly and continuously. It is such a pain in my tail. Puddles on the carpet, smears on the doorknobs, smudges that NEVER COME OUT OF YOUR CLOTHES!" KangarooCommander quickly regained his composure and smiled meekly. "I love him, though. And I love living in a barren wasteland of frozen tundra. I even love my ridiculous name. See, these may sound like complaints, but I am actually the happiest neopet in Neopia. I'm just telling my story like it is. No poetry. No colorful adjectives. It's just me, like my name."
