I honestly don't have an long, elaborate story to tell about my darling Harronette, for I only found her a week ago! All I can tell you is how I came to find her, and what I know of her in the short time I have gotten to know her...

Having arrived alone in Neopia, I knew the first place I had to go to find a companion was the pound. There was someone for every soul in there, and if their previous owner wasn't the one, maybe I would be. I was saddened by all the sad and lonely faces, but having few np myself, I couldn't afford to take them all in. I had actually passed right by Harronette when I first came in, she caught my eye momentarily, and I kept her name in my head, but I hadn't thought I was much of a gelert-type gal... between every face I glanced at thereafter, Harronette's kept popping up. Something tugged at my heart and I immediately turned back around and approached her. Weak and dying, she nonetheless had the most vibrant life in her eyes! She whined and swished her tail briefly, making it arc in a graceful circle that seemed so in contrast to her gaunt, angular form, distorted by neglect and starvation. I wondered what sad situation had separated her from her previous master, who no doubt must have given her up with some major heartache. I immediately turned and approached the amiable blumaroo at the front desk and, after promising to care diligently for my newfound friend, dropped 78 np in her outstretched paw. The cage was opened, and Harronette struggled to get to her feet, but collapsed! I rushed to her and lifted her into my arms, afraid that as I hugged her to me I might splinter the bones I felt protruding from her ribcage.

Well, that was then, and this is now... Harronette is well-fed and very happy! She is a quick learner and is already a master genius, she has gained 6 levels in a week and wants to train every day! Despite my worries, she insists on readying herself for the BattleDome! She persuaded me to buy her a gelert wand and armor, and she has been sparring with her stuffed blumaroo every since! She will move on to bigger and better things soon! She has a penchant for books and adores exploring all the natural wildlife we find on our walks, and she LOVES to strut around in her black studded collar when we go out at night! Soon she will have a Mongmong to accompany her all the time! I only hope that I can make her as happy as she makes me!
