Quote of the Week

Kisatoraneko swung her blade at the training dummy, and it's straw head went flying off in an instant. The baby kougra ran up to another dummy, throwing her sword in the air before leaping upwards, grabbing her sword, and slashing downwards. Within seconds, the dummy split in half, with Kisatoraneko rising up, panting. Her recent training with the Ogrin Master had certainly paid off. Pulling off the leaping move with her blade, though once difficult, was now an easy feat for her.

Daily Dare: Fashion Fever

In celebration of Daily Dare, I bring you a new customization-related article. This time, we`re dressing up Neopets to represent various Neopian games, both classical and modern. Ten different games have been selected, from Mystery Island, Haunted Woods, Meridell and more. I`ve attempted to dress up the Neopets as accurately as possible to look like the in-game environment and characters.

Top Neopian Magazines

I’ve rounded up a list of some of my personal favorite reading splurges AND the most popular magazines in all of Neopia.A Magazine “All of the latest news about Aishas written by Aishas!” A Magazine gives confident, smart Aishas the tools they need to explore and reach their dreams. Aishas are naturally magical and very intelligent Neopets. Within these magazine pages you can find articles featuring magical potions and many book reviews.

I Pulled the Lever of Doom 46 Times for Research

There is, upon the Virtupets Space Station, a robot hand. Well, first there is a lever, and then there is the pulling of the lever, and then there is the robot hand. What does it want, this swift robotic hand that brushes mine on its way to my wallet? It wants neopoints, yes, but more than that. It is the Lever of Doom, so they say. Me, I prefer to call it the Lever of Brilliance.

Kisatoraneko turned around, and the Ogrin Master stood, having watched the young Kougra's training. Upon spotting the wise Ogrin, Kisatoraneko immediately turned and bowed in respect. “Master! I apologize, I didn't realize you were watching.”

"A Sapling Branch " by aurorapearl
"It's nothing personal," Maya said with a shrug of her shoulders as she swung a twig in a high arc. "It's just something new. You should be excited for me, if you even can." That was unfair, Archie thought. Stoic though he was, Archie was capable of being excited for a great many things - the smell of new leather shoes and borovan flavored ice cream, to name a few. Certainly he wasn't as... expressive as his sister, but that was hardly a character flaw. If anything, Archie thought that Maya could learn a few things from him, but that wasn't a conversation he planned on bringing up anytime soon. Or ever."It's hard to keep being excited for you when you won't ever talk about anything else," Archie muttered. "Besides, when was the last time you were excited for me?"

"The Sisters of Pillar Grove:Part Eight " by blueys45
Jacenty turned in the direction of the noise behind him, made by two robotic feet pounding against the metal coating on one of the pillars. He saw Halloy furiously flapping his wings and trying to push his clay body off of the tree’s trunk, but he wasn’t making much progress. Rolling his eyes, Jacenty approached Halloy, grabbed the base of his artificial wings, and yanked him free. Halloy released a gasp once he sensed that he was unstuck, but didn't give any words of gratitude. Jacenty held him to his eye level and turned him around. Despite all the training he undertook to remain stoic during missions, even he struggled to stifle back a burst of laughter at the sight of Halloy’s flattened face. Once Halloy popped back to his proper shape, Jacenty opened his hand and let him drop to the floor.
