Quote of the Week
When the sun brought with it a new day, it did not blind Cathton as it so often did late risers. A venerable oak’s branches spread over the blue Cybunny’s bedroom window and caught the morning light in its leaves, and much of the light that managed to escape was obscured by several vines that crawled over the glass pane.
Cathton was already used to waking up like this. He sat up in his bed, just in time for his mother to enter the room with a bundle of books in her hands and a smile on her face. The royal Cybunny carefully stepped over a King Terask Plushie that had been left lying amidst in front of a model of Faerie Palace built with interlocking blocks.
“Happy birthday, Cathton!” said Elesia brightly while he slid his feet into his silk slippers.

Dear reader, I must ask, have you been to the Altador Cup? Of course you have, everyone has been to at least one, and if not, shame on you! Anyway, back to the topic at hand. If you have gone to the Altador Cup, you’re probably familiar with the teams, ranging from Meridell, to Roo Island, to even Darigan Citadel. But here, I’m going to focus on the most unpleasant of all the teams: Kiko Lake. These scoundrels have been going around unchecked for too long. After all, we’ve all heard the stories of rare items being ‘given as a donation’ to the Kiko Lake team, but it’s obviously intimidation. |

你好！That means “Hi!” in Chinese. In Neopia, there are players from all over the world. Even though Neopets is predominantly an English-speaking community, quite a few of us are actually non-native speakers. Today, I would like to share my journey as a Neopian who speaks Chinese as her first language, a tongue as far from English as you can expect. I started off playing Neopets in the Chinese version, but have since continued to enjoy the site in English after the end of support for Chinese.
