by burrboarder03

--------

NEOLODGE - Looking for a place for your Neopet to get some rest, relaxation, and a little fun in the sun? Then you’ve come to the right place, because I am here to tell you a little about the rooms available for your Neopet at the Neolodge, and count down from ten to the number one hotel for your Neopet! From cheap cockroach filled rooms, to fancy and elegant suites, every room will be evaluated! Hopefully you will learn some things you never knew, and information to help you decide where to send your Neopet for vacation!

***

#10 ~ Cockroach Towers ~ 5 NP Per Night

At number 10, the Cockroach Towers aren’t exactly a place to be polished and pampered. The dirty cardboard walls, smelly floor, and disgusting inhabitants are the main faults of this motel. But if you’re just looking to send your pet away on a cheap trip, this is the place for you! Neopets that have traveled here describe Cockroach Towers as repulsive, foul, and far from comfortable, not to mention the cockroaches everywhere! With a pile of dung for a bed, and a clay pot for a toilet, Cockroach Towers clearly is the best place for your cheapskate Neopet to stay.

#9 ~ Fleapit Motel ~ 10 NP Per Night

If you’re Neopet is staying at the Fleapit Motel, let’s hope they love insects! Here at the Fleapit, bugs of all kinds are welcome. Popular guests here include Buzzes, Rukis, and several Spyders, each describing the Fleapit as a cheap, ugly hotel with horrible service... but great food! The pricing for this hotel is very cheap, although I wouldn’t send your Uni here! With its bug filled halls, stained walls, and nasty food, it is easy to see why the Fleapit Motel comes in our countdown at number 9.

#8 ~ Cheap Hotel ~ 20 NP Per Night

Coming in at number 8 is the Cheap Hotel... what a name. Residents often come here searching for a bargain room with average accommodations. The rooms usually have Cheap Blue wallpaper (often ripped in places), hard carpet, a cheap, tiny bed, and a single plain white toilet. The food is of average quality… and you get a lot for your money, which is why most middle class Neopets arrive at the Cheap Hotel, knowing that if one word could describe its rooms, service, and food, it would be cheap. Nonetheless, the Cheap Hotel is a great deal, if you don’t mind the, well... cheapness.

#7 ~ Mountain Lodge ~ 30 NP Per Night

The Mountain Lodge is a wonderful place to relax, located in the scenic Terror Mountain. With its comfy sofas and warm homely rooms, the Mountain Lodge is a great place to sit by a cozy fire and drink some hot chocolate while surrounded by the breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains. But even with the frigid cold outside, Neopets flood the icy mountain top, looking for fun winter activities, and they soon find them! Downhill skiing & snowboarding are the most popular recreational activities at the Mountain Lodge, but there is also sledding, snowball fights, and even ice sculpting competitions! Or you can just build a snowman, and who knows? Maybe you’ll see a herd of passing Poogles or Cybunnies! But if you would rather stay in a warm place, you can relax in your cozy room with cherry wood floors, white wallpaper, and a big beautiful bed with lots of covers!

# 6 ~ Ye Old Ship Inn ~ 40 NP Per Night

I found Ye Old Ship Inn to be a delightful fun place for the sea lover in your Neopet! With its great sea and pirate theme, it is well worth the 40 Neopoints to come here and enjoy the rustic rooms with old wood floors, sea shells in every corner, sea blue painted walls, and colorful coral themed bedspread! It’s a great place for the young Neopets, too, with its huge swimming pool and pirate play area. You will often see Peophins, Kikos, Jetsams, and Kois frolicking in the waves, and enjoying the delicious sea food. The food at the Yee Old Ship Inn is rated some of the best in all of Neopia! And you can’t find seafood anywhere else this good! Lobster, Salmon, and various Kelp & Sea Weed Salads are the most popular delicacies at the Yee Old Ship Inn. The unique underwater theme, excellent Pirate service, and Exquisite food make the Yee Old Ship Inn, number 6 on the Neolodge Hotels Countdown!

#5 ~ Hotel Opera ~ 50 NP Per Night

At number 5, we have the Hotel Opera, a Hotel for the casual traveler, with a little more money than some. The service here is said to be wonderful, as the food is also. The rooms are pretty, with burgundy walls, beige carpet, and elegant dark wood décor. But besides all of this, the main attraction that attracts thousands of Neopets each year is the Opera. Each night, famous opera singer Olga the Usul, puts on a spectacular show on stage, singing the most beautiful opera many Neopets have ever heard! After she is finished, and autographs have been signed, the Neopets enjoy a wonderful dinner! Then it’s time to return back to their rooms, which have been cleaned by the maids already, and fall asleep in their expensive maroon beds and hug the fluffy pillows provided at the Hotel Opera. With its wonderful rooms, food, & opera, Hotel Opera comes in at number 5!

#4 ~ The Royal Neopian ~ 80 NP Per Night

If you’re looking for an elegant expensive island getaway, The Royal Neopian is the place for you! It’s a bit more expensive than others, but residents say it is well worth the price. The rooms have silver trim in every corner, with beautiful white and purple decorations. The island theme is beautifully expressed with the fluffy white carpet, wonderful view of mystery island beach, and humungous blue bed, with a bamboo frame, and an elegant white canopy hanging over it. The service is excellent, as the maids literally wait on your hand and foot, and cater to your every need! Room service is excellent, dressed in hula skirts and all painted with an island paint brush! Here your Neopet can enjoy tropical exotic meals most Neopets have never even heard of, or just walk a relaxing walk on the sandy beach. If you’re looking for a place for your Neopet to be pampered with spa treatments, gourmet food, and all the sun, sand, and surf you can imagine, The Royal Neopian is the place for you!

#3 ~ Faerie Castle ~ 100 NP Per Night

For this wonderful hotel, your Neopet must venture up into the clouds, and through a beautiful Castle, decorated with pink and purple sparkly furniture, white marble on every floor, elegant diamond chandeliers, and the most beautiful rooms most Neopets have ever seen! As they arrive, your Neopet will be greeted by the Faerie Queen, Fyora. She will then ask your Neopet to pick an element. Fire, Water, Light, Earth, Air, or Dark! Say your Neopet picks Fire, they will be led by the Fire Faerie, to a spicy orange, red, and yellow room, with gold tables, sofas, and all kinds of furniture! The Water room is more peaceful, with aqua blue walls, soft baby blue tile, and colorful sea decorations hanging in every corner! If Light is picked, your Neopet will see an elegant, bright room, with pearly white carpet, creamy yellow walls, and angelic pictures of angels and faeries, hanging in shiny gold frames. The Earth room is very…earthy! The jade green carpet, emerald walls, rich chestnut furniture stand out as you arrive in this warm and cozy room! Perhaps the most graceful room in the castle is the air room. As soon as your Neopet walks in, they will notice they are standing on fluffy clouds, with soft cloud furniture everywhere! The windows let in a natural beauteous light, which shines on the puffy cloudy bed, (the most comfortable thing any Neopet will ever sleep on!) and as they look up, your Neopet will see the amazing sky, through a clear glass ceiling! The dark room is a bit less warm and inviting, but still very majestic! The walls are painted a royal purple, with black furniture and décor scattered everywhere on the dark wood floors. Some Neopets say that the pictures of the dark faerie in this room seem like their eyes follow them as they walk around. Whatever room you choose, the food is all the same! With Faerie Pizza, drinks, and heavenly deserts! With the unbeatable style found in the Faerie Castle, it is obvious why the Faerie Castle is number 3 in our countdown to the best hotels in all of Neopia!

#2 ~ The Presidential Palace ~ 200 NP Per Night

In the Presidential Palace, your Neopet will be treated, like a president! The rooms are made completely of Gold and Marble! The rooms consist of Gold walls, Marble floors, and Golden Decorations on every wall! Beautiful White and Gold Beds, with Golden tassels hanging from the comforter, and even a golden throne awaiting to be sat in by your Neopet! If the looks aren’t enough, wait until you hear about the service! Each morning, the hotel manager sends in a makeup artist, a hairstylist, a caterer, someone with brand new clothes, and someone to do facials and skin care! (Or in your Neopet’s case…fur care) The food is superb! There is not even a menu, your Neopet just thinks of whatever food they want, be it Steak, Chicken, Salad, Crab, Cake, or even Frogs! And that’s not all…It’s all free! Neopets love to come to the Presidential Palace, where they are treated like royalty! With the fabulous gold and white rooms, the unbeatable service, and the first class food, The Presidential Palace is no doubt the best place for your Neopet to relax and enjoy the flawless indulgence of the manor!

Finally, the moment you’ve all been waiting for…the number 1 hotel in all of Neopia…and it is….

#1 ~ Astro Villa ~ 500 NP Per Night

At 500NP per night, the Astro Villa isn’t exactly a place for low income Neopets to travel to. But if you have the money, it is well worth the price! It’s not the hotel itself that is so expensive, but also the ride up there! Your Neopet will be seated in an enormous space ship, with excellent service and food, and blast off into space! Upon reaching a Huge Space Station, known as The Astro, Your pet will have had a gorgeous view of the stars!

The Astro Villa is so big, it can be seen from Terror Mountain, as a tiny little spec in the sky! But enough about that, let’s go inside! The Space Faerie immediately greets your Neopets at the door, and gives them a grand tour of the Villa. The Lounge, where the wonderful space food is served; the Ball Room, for entertainment; and now up to your room! A humungous circular area, with stars painted on the walls and ceiling, which look so real, it feels like you’re flying! The floor is pure glass, with one light coat of white on top, to give it that frosty outer space look! Everything in the room is shaped like a star, moon, or sun, to match the awesome theme of space! If that isn’t enough, your Neopet will die when they see, the bed. A large bed, in the shape of a moon, to cradle your Neopet in a dreamy comfort like no other! Now to the food, and don’t get the wrong idea, just because it’s called space food, doesn’t mean its freeze dried, vacuum packed, or in a capsule. In fact, the food in the Astro Villa has been rated “The best food in all of outer space!” By the Neopian Times, for its charming choice meals, rare lovely desserts, and outstanding drinks! Of course, the outer space theme is not forgotten in the Astro Villa’s many dishes. There are Sundaes, Moon Fries, and Astro Hotdogs! Outer Space Cake, Galaxy Jelly, and Black Hole Burgers! Space-themed techno music is played while Neopets eat, dance, sing, and just relax in this outer space getaway! The service is always happy to come and clean your room, answer any questions, or just chat with you about the Astro Villa, or whatever you want! After all the fun, your Neopet can quietly return to their clean room in peace, and sleep a wonderful slumber beneath the stars.
