 Pet Name: Imisiem Owner: lotje35 Breed: Aisha About Imisiem: Hi!! *waves* My name is Imisiem. I’m going to tell you about an important part of my life. This picture was made a little while ago, on the day that I had my ballet lessons. See, I adore ballet. It is very important to me, and when I grow up, I want to become a dancer, or a dance teacher. :) You might think: ballet?! I never heard of ballet on neopets before!! Well, that is right. I think I’m one of the few neopets that attend ballet lessons. First, I didn’t know either, that there was something as ballet lessons on neopets. But I love dancing you see, I’ve loved dancing ever since I was a little Aisha. My owner used to call me Flamingo, what sounds a little like flamenco, a very famous dance. My teachers at school said, that I should go and follow dance lessons, and also my friends and sisters said that that would probably be the right choice. So, I did some research about dancing in Neopia. Well, that took me and my owner quite some time! *laughs* We first went to see the famous Bruce dances in Terror Mountain. We’ve heard that Bruces adore dancing. But, I figured that Bruce dances are totally barbaric. I mean, the last Bruce standing wins! Do you have any idea what that does to the poor Bruce’s feet? Terrible!! *shivers* So we decided that Bruce dances weren’t the right kind of dances to me. We had never heard of any other neopets being able to dance, but I wouldn’t give up. After hours of wasting time persuading my owner, we went to see the big library in Faerieland. I read book after book, but didn’t succeed: I couldn’t find anything. Finally, on the day that my owner and me would go back home, I heard some soft music coming from a small but lovely faeriehome at the end of the street. Curious and sensitive to music as I was (and still am!), I sneaked away of my owner and walked after the sound of the music. What I saw, was beautiful. The first of ballet I ever saw in my life. But surely not the last! I walked into the faeriehome and after what must have been an hour of staring at this new kind of dance, my owner found me. Afcourse, she wasn’t, well, let’s say to happy to find me there, she had been slightly worried of where I had been. Then she said, that she was happy that I found the kind of dance I would like to learn, but that in Meridell, where we had recently bought a home, there was no such thing as ballet lessons. I never thought of that. Now what? But no matter what I said, we had to go home. At home I felt miserable. I had tried to find more information about ballet in Neopia, but again I didn’t succeed. If only I was able to, I could give ballet lessons myself, but no, that wasn’t an option... I didn’t want to use magic either, all though much people think that of Aishas, I’m not really in to magic. Besides, I wanted to learn this by myself. You might think that this story would end with some special happening, but sorry, it doesn’t. One day some rather strange Ixi just started a ballet school in Meridell, and me and some other lucky inhabitants of Meridell have visited the school ever since then. I don’t really no why this school suddenly started here, in Meridell. I remember my owner smiling oddly that day... but she couldn’t have arranged that for me, could she? No, no... *thinks deeply* Well anyway, to go back to the present, I still enjoy ballet lessons. I dance almost five times a week now and I’m very happy with that. I learn all kind of things and I also do special tests and performances. And maybe, some time in the future, I might become a real dancer...
