 Pet Name: _Duchess_of_Darkness Owner: _awsome_pets_ Breed: Kougra About _Duchess_of_Darkness: Why a kougra you ask? Kougras are only the fastest, diligent, and most gorgeous neopet I know of! Yes, I am Halloween, but I keep the spirit alive. My name is Duchess of Darkness. It suits me well, after all I am a Duchess. I was never this beautiful; my strong wings never were on my back. My teeth were never this sharp or long, my claws as well. I was a red kougra, plain and dull. My owner thought the same of me too. She needed a mean and feisty pet. I was so scared of that kooky, crazy, yellow scorchio that owned the thing called the Lab Ray. I could have sworn he was mad. That thing he pointed at me made my fur stand on end. If anything awful was to happen he and my owner were to blame. She did care about me, but she seemed rather unfair that day. I stood in the center of the room tail between my four wobbly, shaking legs. He fired it at me and I cried in horror. It wasn't that bad as I recall it was just a quick sharp pain. I then opened my eyes and stared down and my paws. They were a charcoal grey and I had claws as long as an Angelpuss's whisker! There was something on my back. It felt heavier than I remembered... Did I dare turn my head? I bit my lip... Yow! That hurt! I rolled my tongue over the new sharp pair of fangs I had received. This is more like it! Without hesitation I looked back at my new set of wings. I expanded them then closed them numerous times. Without warning I took off and ran to the nearest hill and leaped off with one mighty bound. I also landed with a mighty boom. My wings allowed me to glide for a bit while in the air which was good. What was bad was I couldn't exactly fly. I was discouraged at first but now I'm content with the way I behave and look. Yes, I may appear to be violent but, I have to admit I have my soft spots. My favorite thing is playing with my Mazzew, Ratchet. I just can't resist asking him them same question over and over again. Do I look pretty? Then he roars loudly as if to say Of course! Eating is something I never stop doing. It's always fun trying to eat my Deviled Steak before it flies away. Of course, I'm not slow so I always eat it before it escapes. I hope someday I can save up enough neopoints to design my own neoroom with lots of spooky furniture then my owner, Rebecca, would be so scared! Did I mention I love to play tricks on people? April fool's day is my favorite day! I always plan way ahead to see what mischievous things I can come up with. You'd better make sure I don't have any tricks planned for you next year! So be sure to watch out for Duchess of Darkness, the Halloween kougra.
