A Hasee's Note

I hear you moan, "Oh, life is tough
and I could use a break,
I'd love to be a blithe Hasee..."
You're making a mistake!

We've got it rough, us Hasees,
No one really understands
Our awful strife, our tricky life
Our everyday demands

We can't just simply pick up lunch
If we want a tasty treat,
There is this whole rigamarole 
We go through to eat

First, fashion a seesaw --
It can be fine or crude,
Then find a friend who'll gladly lend
His help in getting food

Then hop up on that seesaw
And your pal will hop up, too,
And launch you high up in the sky...
Any old height will do

But while you're flying through the air
Watch out, for you may see,
That you may shoot by a doughnutfruit
A fine delicacy...

If you see one just reach out
And snatch it from the air,
But keep an eye on the whole sky...
Some hazards fly through there

Should you hit one of those things --
So putrid, foul, and vile,
The horrid flavor won't let you savor
Your fruits for a short while!

Dodge and grab, time your jumps,
You may get rather tired,
Try to snatch a good, large batch
Then eat what you've acquired 

The perils and the problems,
And all to get a meal,
So, do you see? It's hard to be
A Hasee, not ideal!

Only one thing left to do.
Choose which sweets you want to chew!
Visit the Chocolate Factory,
They've got plenty of treats, just go... you'll see!

There's lots of goodies to choose from,
With Mint Novae and Bubble Gum,
And marshmallows and Chocowhips,
Peanut Brittles and strange Wax Lips.

From Praline Bars to Choco Spray,
Candy Canes and Buzz Honey,
There's Chia treats and Neodrops,
With Aisha ears and Lollipops.

Jelly beans that taste of sludge
Or chocolate coins and chocolate fudge,
Don't forget to eat your greens,
With very special Sweet Baked Beans.

There's many more sweets left to pick
From Candy Rock to Candy Sticks,
Gobstoppers, Chocolate Dubloons,
Sugar Skulls and rare Chocoons.

Or pirates chests or Gummy Fish,
Fresh breath mints or licorice.
Choose Chocolate Neggs or Iced Bonbons.
Or even the Jelly Pecans.

A lot to choose, take your pick.
But you must make it quick!
No one comes in, no one goes out.
But it's the best chocolate, no doubt!

Thief's Hand

Slinking softly
through the shadows,
(step-pause-step-run)
Kelland makes his way.

Over rooftops,
under bridges,
before the night
turns into day.

The Thief has not
made a "great steal"
since he joined
Altador.

Yet still, he keeps
his deft hand in -- 
without theft,
what's life for?

So Kelland slips,
and slinks,
and slides;
the rush goes to
his head.

Come morning, those
he's taken from
will find gold 
in its stead.
