February Holidays : The Month of Awakening

First, Zafara day is on day three
Those creatures are as cute as can be
With their floppy ears and fluffy head
All over Neopia their joy is spread

On the Fourth day of February
We celebrate the life of an evil fairy
Jhudora wears a flowing gown of purple and green
Her quests are tricky from what I've seen

The festival of Lennys is on the twelfth day
They come out of their nests and shout horray
They fly, and dance, and start to sing
They know the tunes like the back of their wing

Valentines day is the one you probably know
The fourteenth is the day hearts will grow
Cards, candy, poems,flowers, love
And a beautful ring that fits like a glove

The Chias are honored on the Eighteenth day
They come in a lot of forms I'd say
Chocolate? Apple? It never stops
With their magical Chia pops

Tonu day is on day Twenty One
They go out and have some fun
They sharpen their horns and away they charge
These maned creatures can get quite large

On the twenty second, last but not least
Is Mynci day with their banana feast
They play Mynci Beach Volleyball
They slip on the peels and down they fall

Hubert's Favorite Day

Today is Mynci Day,
Hubert's favorite day of the entire year.
It is a day he looks forward to,
a day that brings him great cheer.

Hubert is a very famous Neopian,
he even has a game about him.
One where you guide a hot dog using ketchup and mustard,
to get it back to Hubert before things get grim.

Hubert spends his days, 
in Neopia at his hot dog stand.
He sells so many varieties,
none of which are bland.

You can get ice cream hot dogs,
biscuit hot dogs and banana ones too.
There are candy cane, caviar, sushi,
and even diamond hot dogs that are blue.

Hubert sells any kind you can imagine,
and it is always service with a smile.
Hubert loves his job,
and always goes the extra mile.

What better was to celebrate,
this very special day full of things to do.
Then heading down to Hubert's Hot Dog stand,
and have a hot dog or two.

Celebrate in the Trees

Being a Mynci can be great fun,
You can climb and swing all day in the sun.
Being up in the trees is so relaxing,
Especially after a day that's been taxing.

The best part is hanging by your tail,
It brings a smile without fail.
Way up high, you can see for miles,
From the clouds of faeries to the rubbish piles.

Once a year is a big celebration,
And all through the trees you can feel the elation!
All the myncis play with one another,
No matter if it's a sister or a brother.

Mynci Day is upon us again,
It will be great whether sun or rain.
So please join us and climb, climb, climb!
We know you'll be able to find some time!

Boasts such grand, unrivaled beauty!
Lovely cream and chocolate sprinkles
Shine in light—they'll surely twinkle.

He won't melt in vivid sun.
Relief shall come—he's so much fun!
His mischief, never to be matched,
Amuses. Wingoballs he'll snatch!

His pointed hat reminds me of
Sweet cones of chocolate, which I love,
Yet I won't eat my precious friend.
His whimsy pleases to no end!

My pal will watch o'er plants so fine.
The gorgeous blossoms, so divine,
Will be preserved, thanks to the gnome
Who always calls my garden home.

Mynci Day

In the jungle, the Myncies play,
Swinging from tree to tree,
The Myncies have fun all day,
They really are quite carefree.

From morning to the setting sun,
The Mynci is a cheeky pet,
They pull pranks just for fun,
On buddies and those they just met.

The Myncies love their fruit,
Like blurf, stramberry and melow,
But their absolute favourite,
Is the banana, sweet and yellow.

So on their special birthday,
The celebration is just gigantic,
You'll know for sure it's Mynci day,
It's a whole bunch of bananas and antics!

Arnold's Game

This Mynci's game is totally fair -
Just lift this here mallet into the air,
Then swing it down with all your might,
If it helps, pretend you're in a fight!
The bar will rise higher and higher -
See I told you Arnold was no liar -
Where it stops determines your prize,
Just make sure you aren't going to cry.
Oh no - Weakling?! - your swing was in vain,
Now shoo shoo, but be sure to come again.

Arnold's game is a popular attraction,
Though the others find its sounds a distraction.
The well-dressed Mynci tends to his game,
From losers he is used to taking blame.
Arnold knows rumors of rigging are abound,
But he insists his game is the fairest around.
His snappy clothing sure cost a pretty penny,
But that doesn't mean he ripped off the many!
This Mynci stands out in his community,
As the only proprietor to not cheat with impunity.

Arnold is truly as honest as the day is long,
If you fail... are you sure you are actually strong?

M*YNCI

I pull on my favorite concert tee,
Faded and frayed from  constant wear.
"This shirt looks pretty shabby," I admit,
But I'm too excited to care.

My pink cap completes my outfit;
I grin as I adjust the bill.
Thinking of seeing my favorite band
Still gives me such a thrill!

Those five charming myncies,
With their smooth voices and great hair,
The anticipation of seeing them
Is almost more than I can bear.

At the concert hall, I present my ticket,
And step inside the door.
The buzz of excitement from the crowd
Is a sound that I adore.

I hurry to my seat.
The lights are low.
I bounce in my chair.
It's time for the show!

And finally it happens!
The moment I've been waiting for.
The five members of M*YNCI
Bound onto the floor.

I stomp and I cheer
As I wave to the group.
My favorite, the blue one, waves back
And I let out a whoop.

At the end of the night, as I walk home,
I make mental notes, so I won't forget
Anything about this night, because
This M*YNCI concert was the best one yet!

Mynci Beach Volleyball

On a sunny day,
With sea and surf,
Two Myncis play,
On a sandy turf.

With a swift hop,
One Mynci serves,
Ball soars across top,
A true test of nerves.

Out comes a Turdle,
Right under the net,
It's quite a hurdle,
If you hit the petpet.

A Pawkeet is struck,
Superjump activated,
It's very bad luck,
The power-up most hated.

The sun slowly sets,
On the final round,
Two exhausted pets,
And a new champ crowned.

Fun-loving, carefree, tricksters you’ll find!
You can discover them jumping between tree to tree,
when you look up, grabbing coconuts and bananas they’ll be.

What makes a Mynci a Mynci so?
You’ll see that for a laugh, wherever they’ll go!
They love to have fun, pranks at no one’s expense,
whenever there’s a Mynci around, jokes will commence!

A Mynci sits in the Dungeon,
Pulling goofy antics,
While challenging ‘pets to games of
Military tactics.

He slumps over in his armchair.
Is he paying attention…?
But out of nowhere, he fools them
With cunning deception!

On Mynci Day, I made a trip
To visit the Citadel.
I wanted to wish him a good day
And say I hope he’s well.

“Master Vex!” I called carefully
Down the dank stairwell.
“I hope you’re in the mood for cake
That’s iced with caramel!”

Vex met with me, smiled, and said,
“How very kind of you.
But today you know what it is
That I would rather do:

“Obliterate you in a game of
Cellblock, or maybe three!”
I scoffed, sat at the table, and said,
“I guess we’ll have to see!”
