Fred the Pirate Tuskaninny

Hailing from Krawk Island, 
There is a Tuskanniny with hair of red. 
He sailed around the world, 
And goes by the name Fred! 

Sailing is too mild a word 
As Fred, you see, was a pirate. 
Starting his career with Captain Pucebeard, 
He sailed in many climates! 

Eventually, though, his crew had changed. 
He was fearsome on Captain Scarboade’s crew. 
He fought and pillaged across Neopia, 
And he would steal treasure from you, too! 

His notoriety started many years ago, 
The Curse of Maraqua boasts his terror. 
His blade and wits and fighting techniques 
Will win his opponents no favors. 

Some play a mockery game 
Of which Fred is featured, 
Attack of the Revenge is not truly accurate 
Because Fred is much more brutal of a creature! 

Lately, though, Fred’s activities are unknown. 
Perhaps he’s relaxing in the island sun? 
His piracy days have long since ended, 
And his lazy, quiet life has just begun!

An Aerial Celebration

Soaring through the skies,
on this very special day,
the faerie Tuskaninny celebrates,
doing an aerial ballet. 

Weaving in the clouds,
over and under, above and below,
the Tuskaninny slows to a stop
and says a happy hello.

“Do you want to join?”
Grabbing your hand,
you join her in the air,
above the vanishing land. 

Basking in the sun,
a day of carefree,
all the Tuskaninny
are filled with glee. 

Yellow, orange, and red,
glistening and glowing,
it’s definitely a beautiful,
magical day this spring.

The Tuskaninny Grudge

A Blue Tuskaninny was very mad.
He got in an argument that went real bad.
His Red painted friend said something not nice.
The two of them needed some solid advice.

Because of the fight, nobody talked.
They both separately went for a quick walk.
The Red one went down by the lake.
While the Blue one regretted his little mistake.

Out of nowhere he had a thought.
He picked up something that had been bought.
It was a beautiful shell from his Red friend.
He instantly wanted this small fight to end.

He turned around and began to walk.
“I need to find my friend, so we can talk!”
He reached his friend began to speak.
The Red one turned and found a treat.

“My friend I’m sorry for all I said,”
The Blue friend said to his friend that was Red.
The Red friend smiled and gave a nudge.
The quickly learned to not hold a grudge.

Has cute little button eyes
On a face that is both cute
And very softly wise.

Since he's as tough as he seems.

But he rules his court, fair and just-
Empathy and understanding is a must!
Travel south to visit his court,
And see his flourishing kingdom and port!

Over the years he has become quite good,

Try not to be upset if he beats you,
All your tricks he might see right through,

Next round you may force him to pick up the card batch!

Sometimes he lies to help himself win,
See if you can catch him by checking for a grin,
Don't be too upset as its part of the game,

Deep in the Ice Caves, 
Left past the Snowager,
A secret frozen nook,
A chilly little chamber.

Few know this place,
Fewer can stand its cold.
Who can venture into it?
Who can be so bold?

There's a Tuskaninny,
A Tuskaninny, and two.
A group of Tuskaninnies,
Sliding down the ice too!

Laughing and giggling,
They head for the cave.
One raises their flipper
And gives a cheery wave.

Just what is this place?
It's full of Tuskaninnies!
They're even sitting down
For an ice cream feast!

The Lair of the Tuskaninny,
Not so hidden anymore,
Full of Tuskaninnies,
In all their chilly splendor.

Beachin' With Tuskaninnies

Finned and funny creatures.
Tuft of hair and skin like leather,
Tuskaninnies come out in any weather.

Don't forget your sunscreen here,

If the sand becomes too hot,
Tuskaninnies know the spot.
Follow them to the cool blue sea,

Tuskaninnies know how to spend their days,

Little Timmy the Tuskanniny

Little Timmy was a Tuskaninny
Whose anxiety could not be beat.
Friendless, quiet, and socially awkward,
Timmy felt he needed to Cheat! 

He planned to play the infamous card game
In the seediest part of town.
If he could prove to them his skills in Cheat!
He could turn his life around. 

Just as he'd hoped, his quiet demeanor
Gave him a slight advantage.
He began to have a winning streak
With excitement he could hardly manage. 

But just as he felt he'd gained the respect
Of the patrons of the Carrotberry Club,
His luck dried up and he began to lose;
Surely, the Big Guys would give him the snub. 

He ultimately lost as much as he'd gained,
Leaving him feeling lost and dejected.
Tearfully, he began to leave the club,
But Brucey B stopped him and interjected: 

"That was some impressive Cheating!"
He said with sympathy and discernment.
"I hope that you will join us next week,
When we conduct our Cheat! Tournament!" 

With that began a new life for Timmy
In such an unusual fashion.
For it is from this shady encounter
That this Tuskaninny found his passion!

A Day at the Cliffhanger’s Cliff

“Super glue is forever!” the Tuskaninny yells,
and all around us, I take a peek:
the letters appeared, all that I seek!

Ahead of us, snow — all flat, so bright.
Endless expanse of mountain to our left and our right.
Nothing but fresh air, the cool crisp smell,
oh — and the looming cliff, a great big fright!

Just as tall as the Esophagor’s mouth is wide,
this Tuskaninny’s made this steep climb a hundred times.
No, his many responses don’t have to rhyme —

though you can be certain there’s flair and style! 
If it’s those thrills you like, hard mode’s worthwhile:
Just make sure by the rules you abide, the letters you find,
or else it’s over the edge after this brainy trial!

Around his neck’s his trusty black scarf,
and in his brown sweater, he’s cool, not cold;
he lives ‘round these parts — so I’m told.

And then, “Nimmos are very spiritual beings!” —
Goodness, can you believe a word we’re hearing?
We’re up too high so I covered the eyes of my Warf;
over the cliff he goes, he’s wrong, can’t believe what we’re seeing!

Turn around, he’s right as rain,
he’s laughing, silly, ready to climb again!
No matter how many times he’s gone up or down,
whether you’re a Terror Mountain local or from out of town,
my Warf and I will take you here,
up to this cliff and the Tuskaninny with no fear!

Altador Cup's True MVP

She’s certainly not Tandrak Shaye,
Who’s cunning and suave and dark

Is she Mirsha Grelinek? Certainly not!
She’s not the cool captain of Shenkuu
Indeed, this Tuskaninny doesn’t even play
She’d rather just enjoy the view!

Is it Feldon “Dinksy” Collibridge?
Oh dear, how’d you come up with that guess?
While they’re both cute and soft-looking,
I doubt Dinksy wears a white dress!

You’re guessing Ilsa Ellits, the Red Ixi?
Closer to the right answer are you!
Though they have very little in common,
They do share that lovely red hue

So, have you guessed who the MVP is?
If you haven’t, you’ll feel really silly,
For it’s none other than the Tuskaninny
Who’s always busy slinging our slushies!

Both the players and audience know her
Because she gives everyone the best care,
She makes sure we’re fed and watered,
And she does it with such flair!

She’s totally the true MVP of the Altador Cup,
Slinging slushies all while looking pretty,
Let’s not forget to celebrate her too,
Give a hand for this amazing Tuskaninny!

Je me baignais près de la côte de Meridell,
Nageant paisiblement entre terre et ciel.
Rien n'aurait pu interrompre ma nonchalance,
Je m'amusais follement avec insouciance.

Quand soudainement, une vague me surprit
Elle me submergea avec grande furie.
Je ne pus même pas pousser une complainte,
L'eau me serrait déjà dans son étreinte.

Brutale et imposante autour de moi,
Vers les tréfonds elle m'emporta.
Je cherchai à saisir quelque algue flottante
Je n'agrippai que le vide, suffocante.

Je tentai de me libérer de cet étau,
Mes efforts ne trouvèrent aucun écho.
Je m'enfonçai irrévocablement vers les abysses,
Emportée par une force dévastatrice.

C'est ainsi qu'entre deux courants,
Je lévitai au bord de l'étouffement,
Comptant mes quelques secondes de sursis,
Franchement inquiète pour ma survie.

Je refermai doucement les yeux,
Priant qu'on me sorte de cet état périlleux.
Je n'entretenais point d'espoir.
Où aurais-je pu trouver une échappatoire?

Autour de moi je sentis un changement
Les flots se mirent à valser étrangement
Je perçu subitement du bout des doigts,
Une forme mystérieuse m'effleura.

Désespérée, je saisis la masse inconnue.
