Lupe's Eyes By chibiakki

The sun sets red over the cliffs,
And I... I stand watching,
My fur moving in the
Soft breeze that blows.
The sky turning blue to pink to red,
To the deep blue-black velvet
That is the night.
The sun has gone.
The twinkling eyes of the night come out,
Watching me as I watch them.
Korbats fly overhead.
I watch them, too.
Nothing escapes my gaze
This night.
The moon, so full and round and bright
Shines down,
Making everything glow a pale white.
Beautiful.
I have seen it every night for a year,
And it always amazes me,
Captivates me.
Cold the wind now blows,
Chilling me to the bone.
I retire to my cave.
The rest of the pack awaits,
A warm and comforting thought.
And so I leave the beauty
Of the night
For another day.

My Eyrie By ljw12383

As I walk through the forest,
I hear flapping wings and a friendly cry.
Then I gaze into the sky,
The sound is closer,
As close as can be,
Now it's swooping right towards me.
I think, what can it be?
Then as it lands right next to me,
I see that it's just my special blue Eyrie.
I walk towards him and he says to me,
Get on my back and away we go.
Hold on tight and don't let go.
I get on his back and hold on tight
As we fly through the star-filled night.
After we're through, here's what I do,
I put him to bed and pet his head
And he whispers, I love you.

Dream Lupes By slick_chick015

She's in a drowsy, endless sleep
lifting her into a hazy dream world.
Oakra wanders silently into a open field
filled with blooming poppies.
The long, green grass tickles her feet
yet her face is miserable as a crying Nimmo.
She wanders silently and in a ghostly way
her grey eyes are dull
and her beautiful smile has gone.
Suddenly she stops
at the sound of velvety paws
padding the damp earth.
Oakra spins around to face
the angelic face of a fiery red Lupe.
His snout is long and his eyes a hazelnut brown.
He sits and lifts up one of his paws
to offer to young Oakra Whim.
As she takes it an electric type shock
runs through her every limb
she wobbles unconcernedly for a brief moment
then she kneels down and weeps silvery pearls.
The Lupe thrusts his head back and howls.
In a few seconds eighty-one Lupes
of all colours appear howling.
Oakra twists in her bed
then she joins the Magical Lupes
running free and wild,
taking children to join them
in the dream world
for the rest of her life in reality.
And her parents weep
when they see a child sleep
under the care of the dream Lupes.

Little Aisha By pixie_dust99

The Sun sets and the moon rises
The clatter of the leaves has halted
The stars come out to play
And the wind turns into a cool breeze
The little Neopets come out to play,
They dash, dance, and prance all night
Except for one lonely Aisha
The littlest of them all
She watches with her big blue eyes
She wants to join the other Neopets
But she is too shy
She is afraid that they will tease her
Or she will make a fool of herself
But why would they? She is as perfect as a doll
Her little ears sway in the breeze,
She has a small body and tiny paws
One of the little Poogles makes her way over,
Struggling in the breeze and she finally makes it,
But as soon as she comes near
The little Aisha moves to another corner
The little Poogle feels so bad
She makes another try and she makes it again
This time the Aisha does not notice the little Poogle
The little Poogle whispers to the lonely Aisha
The Aisha smiles and makes her way over
Neopets, the friendly pets they are
Let her in without any hassle
The wind died down
And they had to go to bed
They marched upstairs
In their own home
To bed they go
All they could hear
Was the soothing wind
Blowing up against the window
Telling her there is nothing to fear
And nothing to be shy of.

Fire Faerie By kirwoo2000

A sea of blue so far below
The wind upon her face
A startling discovery to be made
Of beauty and its grace
The golden glow upon the waves
A sign of what is near
Touching both the water and sky
A silent sunset tear
She flew to touch the silent glow
The glory filled within
For discovering the fire of stars above
That lasts when sunsets begin
Fire Faerie strong and true
Protect the golden gleam
For fire's reflection seemed too true
And left as if a dream.
