Lo and Behold - Plot Prizes!
By Plumgrove

They came in a rush
All in packs and great droves
From mountains and cities
And Maraqua's blue coves

They sought a reward
For their patience and toil:
When prizes were sent
It stirred up turmoil!

Hoping for riches
And weapons, they came
When they saw the selection
They were heard to exclaim:

"Lo and behold!"

"I've a special titanium grave-digging spork
Wait!
Will digging graves with a spork
Make me look like a dork?"

"The delightful
Spirit of Slumber Plushie
Has a rather hypnotic
Effect on me
'You are getting very
Very very very sleeeepy.'"

"My friend, this Rusty asylum cell door
Has accomplished something as never before
It has settled our argument
Let's debate no more
Our quarrel is left behind in the dust
'Repeat after me:
The red stuff is RUST'!"

"For us bold 'Reginettes'
The idea set off glee
There is only one prize
We so covet, you see
'Would you like to purchase
Reginald's tale in an autographed copy?'
Most certainly!"

"I've escaped from a host
Of pets just painted Ghost."

"I cannot eat gluten, nor can I eat glue" "Don't worry, my friend, I know just what to do
Don't worry, don't stew
Take a look
In this gluten-free composite cookbook."

"Never again will my cave fill with woe
Read it yourself, and give it a go
For peaceful designing, there's only one way
I've learned the art of damp cave Feng Shui."

"It turned my brain to jelly
And gave me the kicks
I listened to Ghost Meepit Dance
Party Ultra Remix!"

From amid the huge jumble
There came a loud rumble:
"That's IT!" shouted Sophie
"I have just had ENOUGH!
Go, go away, and get out of my stuff!"
Her Meowclops curled on her hat, she decreed -

But there were prizes to get
So they paid her no heed.

Of the Grundo Slaves
By Heltri_rose

Deep beneath the dirty ground
Inside this tiny pit
I'll make my bed until I'm dead
I can't complain a bit
Or else the monster I call Sloth
will sqaush me like a nit.

The dark and freezing rocks
capture all the light
I always grope; I have to hope
I'll make it through the night
Though I don't know what I will do
I've made it though all right.

I'm let out when I'm working
and shut in when I sleep
The grasping claws and gaping maws
are darkness, cold and deep
and when all is very silent
the Spyders like to creep.

It's safer outside than in here
but there I always toil
I harvest crop, I sweep and mop
I plough the dusty soil.
I'm whipped and branded, treated bad
under the sun I toil.

But through the sadness and the woe
we Grundos stop to pray
to Fyora to end this grim
and prejudicing way
and deep inside my cavern
I hope she does today.

The Hero
By Cats9723

So you say (you think) you are the best,
Good knight, consent to partake of this quest
You think you are worthy of Meridell's crest
You dream of the sword at your side; by your chest.

Well for your information that is not all it takes
Rule one: your heart must not easily break
You must defend them, all sizes and shapes
Great strength a good knight does not readily make!

Rule two: Heed my words, and have courage, my friend;
Would you have the stamina to fight to the end?
Would you to evil's will so easily bend?
Would you summon the bravery so long you've hidden?

Rule three: Would you swear to defend this land?
Would you have mercy on those slain by evil's hand?
Do you know not the meaning of can't, only can?
Be not like those who have turned and have ran!

The qualities required of a knight are these:
Kindness, courage, justice, duty, mercy,
In a battle would ye turn and flee?
Now you know, now you see

Kneel at my knee, be proclaimed knight,
Win the battle and win the fight
Are you worthy of the title tonight?
Protector of the good, the innocent, and all that is right?

Go then now, embark on your journey
Not forgotten and yet still yearning
The bend of the road now you are turning
For how to be one always learning:

Hero, noble knight,
Hero.

Dark Faeries Paradise
By Sacceeno

Star shadows fall,
And there Faeries dance,
In meadows lit,
By night and crystal black.
The vibrant silence,
Plays star melodies,
And he who hears,
A single frosted note,
Will be forever haunted
You see.

The moon's somber rays,
Fall lightly,
Upon the grass.
And here the dark ones
Flourish,
These faeries,
Of darkened hearts,
Flit to and fro,
Entwined in their eternal dance.

So venture not,
To this paradise,
Where only,
The darkened faeries lie.
There you will find,
Not treasures abound,
Only there,
Your doom will
Follow you.

Enchantment by Edna
By 8daerkfire8

All the ingredients are ready, and I'm about to begin
As I start my enchantment I can't help but grin
Cackles of joy and screams of glee
You bet I'm smarter than the big bad Brain Tree
Puddles that drip and fungus that glows
Stir it so fast that the air seems to slow
As the flames leap high I don't even try
To stop the bubbles, don't even ask why
Eye of newt and Korbat fang
Sheets of old music people once sang
Make brains go splat, add Sharky fin
Quick as a flash I throw them all in
A flash and a bang, a sizzle and boom
Will it be a weapon of destruction or an item of doom
A sword or a potion? An orb! Not again!
Oh well here's a present for one of my friends
Then all of a sudden I see people standing there
So I concoct up a scheme to get 'em outta my hair
Now listen up, you dirty pond scum
I mean here's a rare treat for your dear little tum
As the sounds fade away and I'm all by myself
I think I'll start over, let's go look at my shelf
