Xweetok

Energy-filled and full of fun,
The Xweetok runs out in the sun.
And yet I face a conundrum
When writing about my furry chum.
Yes, its eyes inspire all around
To laugh and sing and make such sound.
His tail, it's true, goes to and fro;
It's always a surprise where he may go.
But when I go to write my words,
I realise that nothing rhymes
with Xweetok!

The Fairweather girl,
A hidden pearl,
With a great mind of science
To her peers showed defiance,
As she helped her father
Venturing farther and farther
With a mismatched group,
They made quite a troop
Trudging through the brush,
Soon to be in a rush.
As they walked through the trees
Crunching sticks and leaves.

Lilian soon found herself in
Quite a strange spin --
A barrage of attacks
Forced the group to make tracks.
Dazed and dazzled,
Confused and slightly frazzled,
They boarded their boat,
Glad it could float
As they headed for home
The strange world to be known.

Soon this Xweetok became
Quite a well-known name
By her father's side.
In one great stride,
They dazzled the world
As a tale they unfurled
About a place of giants,
Petpetpet tyrants,
A mysterious isle
That they've left for a while.

A Gift for My Xweetok

No one can be compared to a friend of mine.
He is always good and he knows his line.
Whenever I'm alone he's always there
To make me happy and show that he cares.

He's always with me wherever I go.
He never misses each thing I know.
To the high mountains or to the fields so low,
Wherever I go, he's there to follow.

He's always with me whenever I play.
He never misses a thing I say.
Any problem that gets in our way,
We're always together to make it okay.

No one can be compared to my pet Xweetok.
He is the perfect one for those like me.
He always sees me wherever he looks.
No one is perfect, but he is to me.

Toast to a Xweetok Day!

Look at those little creatures,
Running so fast an' swift!
With them they hold so many features!
Cute an' cuddly they are,
but they can cause a rift!

Beautiful for the BC,
They model to your heart's desire,
All for you and me,
But surely they have some fire?

Of course! If you make them mad that is,
"But, of course, why do that?" I say.
When you could toast with fizz,
To a Happy Xweetok Day!
