The Hoarder
by Jo_eccentric

A thousand Wooden Blocking Shields,
They fill my safety box,
But don't you dare throw them out;
I've kept them safe with locks.

For, I have been collecting since
The day I joined the site.
Your grabby hands must stay away,
I'll guard with all my might.

Plushies are soft and charms may sparkle,
But they don't please at all.
I must have these wooden shields,
I believe it's my nature call.

So many shields, what use do they have?
You may well have to ask.
When trouble comes, I will be safe,
For shielding is their task.

Others have different hobbies,
Hoarding's what I like to do.
I may be strange, but after all,
I'm a little different from you.

Dr. Landelbrot
by Binky1260

Dr. Landelbrot,
I kid you not,
You’re driving me insane!
Your new machine,
Though quite a scene,
Is my financial drain.

I've searched the site
With all my might
To find the things you need;
The Money Tree
Is sick of me;
Of late, there’s a stampede.

My SDB
Is item-free,
Down to the last Blandfish;
At the fishing hole,
I cast a pole
And hope for a Landfish.

So, if I may
Suggest a way
My aid to guarantee,
When I return
With items earned,
Give me a Springabee!

Food For Fish
by Heartsnothaters

Let's feed the Scrawnyfishes!
For them I feel quite bad.
They look emaciated, grey,
and simply downright sad.
How many are there overall?
Are there dozens, hundreds, more?
Would a Scrawnyfish eat something
I buy cheap at a store?
Out of all the fish a 'Pet can catch,
Scrawnyfish are the hardest ones to snatch.
I wonder why they look so thin?
I'd want to feed them, make them grin.
I don't know if they're scared of 'Pets
who go fishing as a mere test.
Of me, they shouldn't be afraid --
I don't eat fishes anyway!
So, every food item I will get,
be it from my owner or an event,
I ought to toss into the fishing vortex...
Transparifish,you guys are next!

Celebrate Krawk Island
by Exequy

Wander through the Fungus Caves
Or walk the sandy beaches,
However, smuggler or knave
Will know how far ye fortune reaches --

But o, heave ho! Pull tight the riggin’
And sturdy, will ye be?
Or will ye do the treasure diggin’
For a 200 NP fee?

Have ye seen the Fontaine Sisters?
All dolled up and twice the beauty.
Ye will get a feast, Landlubbers...
If ye have the booty.

What about the Smuggler’s Cove,
Where quick the shadows flee?
Do not meander, do not rove,
Or ye may miss the mysteries!

And a salty soul is Gavril McGill,
True and fine as the ocean’s call.
Through his bold and iron will,
The former pirate’s saved us all.

So, there ye have it, our raucous home
Where pirates and sailors delight.
Take a chance and dance and roam --
But ye do carefully at night.

The Humble Origins Of Dr. Sloth
by Vanillafilth

Frankly, Dr. Sloth,
You are of origins unknown.
Like light attracts a moth,
This planet became your home.

Ageless, perhaps immortal,
Your motives are not pure.
To this planet your ship hurtled;
You thought you were the cure.

Upon taking up residence
You fled deep underground,
Life here had no precedent,
You slept so sweet and sound.

Light! It burned you.
You tried quickly to escape;
No one ever warned you
That the planet would take shape.

What was that oddity?
Some life form had taken semblance.
No need to be so haughty,
Even though there's no resemblance.

This creature could be beneficial
In ways before unknown,
Because you are so superficial,
You decide to make it your own.

More and more come pouring in,
Creatures spread far and wide,
They raise a sort of awful din,
Coming for the treats you provide.

Your smile curling but a slight,
A glow upon your face.
You decide that you just might
Opress the entire race.
