NeoQuest II
Consumes my life.
But whenever I play it,
Everything seems right.

I take on enemies
And buy potions by the tens,
Though I hardly use them
When I'm with my three friends.

I cross through five lands --
One icy, another dry,
The final one:
Up in the sky.

I travel for hours,
I travel for miles,
Searching for Fyora
On checkered tiles.

Out of Zombom, Silicast,
And Hubrid Nox, the beast,
I think it's King Terask
That I'll miss the least.

Fighting Terask twice
Intimidates me,
But that gold Rohane trophy
Is all I want to see.

Kiko POP!

and hands me a dart.
"Well? Easy, Standard,
or Super Crazy Hard?"

I stare back at him
and anxiously frown.
Thinking, Now that I'm here
I can't just back down!

I take a deep breath
and look back at him.
The wheel to my right
is filled to the brim

With nineteen balloons
of varying hue:
pink, purple, green,
teal, orange, and blue.

"Let's go for Hard,"
I say with a grin.
He nods, reaches up,
the wheel starts to spin.

I can feel all the beats
of my quick-racing heart
as I draw back my arm
and throw forth the dart!

It bursts a balloon
with an echoing POP!
"I won! I succeeded!"
(I thought I would flop!)

The Kiko applauds
and he hands me my prize:
"An old Yellow Snowball?
What a... lovely... surprise..."

An Ode To Omelettes

Imagine a world without omelettes --
It seems impossible, I know.
Each omelette is an easy meal
for those 'pets on the go!

If you don't like to eat big meals,
then omelettes are your friend;
You get three servings for each type of it 
and the varieties never end.
The Chombies and Jetsams I know like sausage,
and the simpler 'pets prefer them plain;
I'd tell you all the different types
but you just might go insane!

Those times I go to Tyrannia
for the Giant Omelette
only to learn they're out of food
always gets me so upset.

In short, I love omelettes
of each and every kind.
Friends may think I'm pretty weird,
but frankly, I don't mind.
I don't feel insulted or get upset,
My paws don't even curl,
Because in my head we all know Tyrannia,
but where the heck is this Jelly World?!?

I know this trip will be my last;
I’m never going home.
Yet, though my friends I leave behind,
