It’s Lenny Day!

The sky is dark,
The grass is green.
Tall, slender neopets.
Stands amongst the scene.

With a long thin neck,
And beautiful feathers.
On a special day like this,
They all come together.

It’s Lenny day!
A day for celebration.
They all soar in the air,
In a majestic formation.

All coloured Lenny’s.
From Chocolate to Eventide.
They fly through tree.
And in the air they glide.

An Ode to the Lenny Conundrum Wizard

Wise one, when shall you return?
Your quizzes make my brain burn.
But the feeling, it makes me yearn,
Through your words, I will learn.

You ask of the impossible,
and yet, some find it possible?
Their response seems too quick,
Perhaps through some trick?

Your legacy now seem so far away,
Praying for your return, every day.
Your memory simply fading away,
I guess that's the prize you have to pay?

To Be A Lenny

And flex my tail.
I push through the water,
Feeling it rush over my scales.

All around me the little fish swim,
All I can see is blue.
Under me the white sand,
Is closer to me than you.

To swim is all I know,
It’s all I’ve ever done.

I’ve never seen the sun.

I wish that I had wings,
To spread far and wide.
To float over the horizon,
To escape this wretched tide.

To fly in the sky,
High above the fish.
If only I was a beautiful Lenny
My one and only wish.

To have feathers,
Instead of fins.
To be able to soar,
Would be the very best thing.

I wish that I could fly.
High up there, feeling free.
If I could wish for just one thing,

Conundrum: An Origin Story

What a better story to share
On this fine Lenny Day,
Than that of a famous Lenny
And his young protégé!

When he first met the green Kacheek,
The Lenny was impressed!
For every riddle that he wrote,
The bright Kacheek could solve it best.

Together, they wrote lots of tests--
Riddles, puzzles, and more--
To calculate each other’s wit
And to settle a score.

After many years, the rivalry grew,
And the old Lenny sighed,
“If I cannot beat this Kacheek,
Then what kind of Lenny am I?”

One day, after a stroke of luck,
The Lenny was inspired.
He stayed up all night long to write
A puzzle that… backfired.

For the Kacheek could not accept
That he would ever fail.
His stubborn pride would not relent;
Rage filled him head to tail.

For years, he tried to break the code,
Following each little thread,
But he soon found that it had been
His mind that broke instead.

On Lenny Day, we celebrate
Each Lenny throughout time,
So let’s acknowledge the Wizard
Who stumped Thade in his prime!

The Legend of Lightning Lenny

Our story begins in the land of Sakhmet,
where an archaeologist would soon regret,
Awakening an evil that had long since slumbered,
Cursing the citizens to ruin and trouble...

Eyrieki, the mummy king, was back to claim his throne again. 
Calloused and angered at his untimely demise, 
there was no one who could defeat his conquest this time.
At least that’s what the king had thought, but a storm was coming to foil his plot!

Frightened beyond their belief, the citizens cowered at the undead king...
Yet, overhead the clouds had gathered, as though by some other worldly power.
But, as the king turned to steal a glance, something bright and loud and fast burst past!

A Lenny now stood, clad in bright blue and silver, 
—striking a pose that made the crowd quiver. 
“Your reign of terror has come to end...
It’s time for you to sleep again!”

And, with speed and valor, the Lenny took off!
Eyrieki unmoving as he remained lost in thought.
So, before the crowd knew it, the day was saved,
and the undead king was sent back to his grave.

And, for those who still remember the shocking tale,
they say the Lightning Lenny will one day strike again.

Flamingo Dreams

Lucy the Lenny had one dream,
And that was to be part of the flamingo team.
Ever since she was little she wanted to be pink,
But every time she asked, her owner made a stink!

Well this was the year, Lucy just knew!
Who would she show first? Who, who who?
She was so excited she could hardly wait,
So she made sure to count down the dates.

On the morning of Lenny Day, she awoke bright and early,
And started dancing around and twirling.
Her owner left her a box and a note,
"Do not open until I return," she wrote.

All day, Lucy stared at that gift,
Until eventually her mind began to drift.
It snapped back when her owner came home in a rush,
And let Lucy open the box that had her own paint brush!

"Thank you, thank you!" Lucy replied,
She was so happy that she cried.
That day they took a trip to the pool,
And Lucy came out looking so cool.

The Colors of Lennys

How do I describe
The majesty of the Lenny?
Should I start with the colors they come in
Because they come in plenty.

What about rainbow,
With the red on their main body,
The colors spreading on their feathers
Representing the colors the Lenny embodies?

Faerie is special too
With the long feathers on their tails.
I would say the colors they have
Look better of feathers than tails.

Their toy color has a bright yellow color
With a bright orange beak.
The toy gives the Lenny
A very shiny cheek.

There are many colors I could go on about
But I’ll cut this short:
Get a Lenny this Lenny Day!
Because Lennys are a pet I support.
