Oh, she manipulated her comrades
For her own personal whims.

Ever present, a shady Acara.

Don't underestimate her
Offers of friendship and trust.
Under the table, they're nothing
But blatant yet sweet lies.
Lest you fall into a trap of 
Endless regret and pain.

Call to mind wicked Galem,
Remember poor trusting Kanrik,
Oblivious, taken in,
Smitten by her grin, then
Swallowed up by Masila's schemes.

An Approachable Acara: Fauna the Gatherer

She grew up on a modest farm.
The apples she grew were the best.
No Petpet could resist her charm—
Her gentleness put them at rest.
Wherever she went, people smiled
And waved at her with joy and cheer.
The lass charmed both adult and child—
All creatures wanted to draw near.

One day she noticed that the line
Of Petpets usually behind
Her wasn’t there. Not a good sign.
So off she went to try to find
Them. One old Usul told her that
The storm last night had them all scared.
Well, Fauna didn’t stay to chat.
She dashed off as fast as she dared.

Two pitchfork-wielding townsfolk came
With her to the edge of the town.
They wanted to protect the dame,
But that’s not quite how it went down.
They heard a Snorkle squealing shrill,
And found the Petpet cornered by
A creature going for the kill.
It turned and looked them in the eye.

The townsfolk started to retreat,
But Fauna held an apple out.
The townsfolk thought she was dead meat,
But ere they could even try shout,
The creature gently took the fruit
Right out of Fauna’s outstretched hand.
The creature ate, and then to boot,
It licked her face ere she could stand!

The story of how Fauna could
Tame any beast with gentleness,
And captivate with her pure good
Spread far enough off to impress
A noble Lupe who wanted to
Establish a strong city-state.
The future king found her and knew
That she’d help make the Council great.

Vira the Villain

Vira is the villain Acara,
who wishes to turn anyone,
who is beautiful and ugly,
Am I ugly all people says?

I am known to be vain, 
selfish and wicked
evil and cruel,
mirrors and moons,

I still desire to be beautiful,
Even if it leads me to the darkness,
"You are pretty," or "Am I pretty,"?
the shadowy voice said as she heard,
"Only I can make you beautiful..."

Vira has changed her heart,
Darkness awaits you in the Battledome,
Magic mirrors she looks away-
do not show reality, oh beauty,
all she wishes through this time,

Anyone who looks into her mirrors-
at first finds themselves very beautiful,
but that beauty fades into ugliness,
Never fades for eternity, a beauty dream,
Stars at night, beautiful sight, sweet nights,

An Underwater Surprise

Underneath Maraqua's oceans,
in the darkest depths of the sea,
a creature in the furthest reaches,
what could it be?

Drifting through currents,
to swim and to play,
hunting for treasure,
and diving away.

By this creature's appearance,
you might be surprised;
you'll never believe,
an Acara has arrived!

A set of slimy tentacles,
and mottled green skin,
big, blinking yellow eyes,
and two huge ear fins:

The Maraquan Acara is a sight to behold!
Graceful and eerie all at once,
if you can find this shy creature,
you'll surely appreciate its presence.

Elon of Maraqua is an Acara esteemed,
Captain of his team, it is just what he dreamed.
Elon has tentacles for legs and arms,
With them he slings the Yooyuball & we praise his charms.

He carries Team Maraqua on his back,
He demands to score goals & he has a great track.
His favorite thing to eat is a radishes with extra spice,
It gives him good luck in games, so he doesn’t think twice.

This Acara wears his colors with pride and joy,
The stripes of green and blue makes him a happy boy.
We call him the ‘black hole’ for his skills on the field,
Once he gets the ball, your team’s fate is sealed.

He is a captain and leader, though some say his skills lack,
But no one can deny that he has a knack…
For Yooyuball, he certainly is a pro,
And thanks to him, Team Maraqua steals the show!

Considered the most selfish player on and off the green,
But that’s ok we are grateful he stays on the scene.
He’s a great scorer and wins awards all around,
He’s also very fast when the ball hits the ground.

We are thankful for our Acara Captain, king of the sport,
Elon is always there to play and he never throws short.
Maybe this will be the year he leads Maraqua to victory,
Either way, he certainly has left his mark on Neopian history.

Trendy Acara Glasses Helped Me Excel

My first day of school brought surprising news,
I was the only Acara at my school and already I was feeling the blues.
No matter how hard I focused my eyes on what was written on the chalkboard...
I couldn't decipher the writings or know what was the next homework to work toward.

The Library Faerie was my homeroom teacher and she was so wise,
She knew all and saw all... those lavender eyes.
She came up to me and said, "I think you should go to the Neopian Hospital to get an eye exam."
Hearing this, I was shocked and scared... so scared that my legs felt like jelly jam.

My teacher smiled, "You'll feel so much better, I promise. After you get your eyes checked, you'll be amazed at what you're capable of."
I listened to the Library Faerie and got an eye exam because I trusted my teacher who was full of kindness and love.
After leaving the Neopian Hospital, I found out that I needed glasses to see at a distance,
So this was my first pair of glasses --- the Trendy Acara Glasses, which will be of assistance.

Wow, I could see everything on the classroom chalkboard even from afar and understand everything my teacher teaches,
I watched my teacher and listened to her speeches.
From that day on, the Trendy Acara Glasses helped me excel in school by making my vision clearer and so I was able to see and learn quick without problems anymore,
And I got compliments from all my classmates on how trendy my glasses were that I became a fashionista while my school grades went up, up, soar!

The Golden Acara's Treasure

about the bizarre treasure of the Golden Acara?
More than anything you could win from Tombola,
Enough to afford a gazillion things from Fyora.

Though some said otherwise
about the unusual treasure of the Golden Acara.
Less than scraps you pick from caves of Moltara,
won’t even get you a can of Neocola.

Who is right?
Only way to know is to find it now.
See with your own eyes, gold or mould,
know the idea has been sold.

A map conjured from words others muttered,
Now finding it could be some strenuous matter.
As Acaras are good swimmers like otters,
her treasure collected and hidden underwater.

At the end of the tunnel lies the glittering prizes,
unfortunately, the Golden Acara too.
“Out of my den you pesky greedy fools!”
Triggered and reaching for the nearest tool.

A glimpse of her treasure,
piled up mountain of Golden Muffins!
At our direction she tossed and threw,
barrage of exploding battle magic blew!

The Acara's favourite game

Let me tell you of an old Acara fancy,
So much so that they written guides aplenty.
Played on dry land and not on water,
One might say it be a strange preference,
But the furry fellas all beg to differ.

Be they spectators or participants,
Brazen youths and wise elders,
All speak of it with enthusiasm.
More than a favourite pastime,
Some had even made it a career.

A simple child's game most had proclaim,
But dare you to say this in their presence,
Welcoming this challenge with a sly grin,
Taunts and teasing are sure to follow,
Best be smart to not to fall prey.  

Should such fools stumble into the circle,
Soon they be leaving covered head to toe,
In thick viscous goo the color blue,
Timed to perfection with accuracy to boot,
From an exploding "Gormball" nimbly thrown, 

Requesting a rematch to sate your pride, 
Getting covered in more goo is not a surprise.
Only when one finally wins that one sees,
Why the Acara's have a love for the game,
Since their glossy fur keeps them always clean!

My Snotty Acara

Toward the end of the Month of Relaxation,
That is, on the 28th of June,
I introduce the loveliest of creations,
Sure to make all snot lovers swoon,
My Snot Acara, my precious girl.

Like Glowing Jelly melting in the sweltering sun,
Fur a brilliant radioactive green,
Mucus and slime mesmerizingly spun,
That slimy coat’s glossy sheen,
My Snot Acara, my dazzling girl.

Her two horns jut out heavy and slick,
Laden with sludge and dripping in goop,
When she turns gunk splatters in chunks quite thick, 
Her smile more sparkling than a Starry Lupe, 
My Snot Acara, my resplendent girl.

How can anyone resist that gummy grin,
Beaming brighter than the sun, than the moon,
Lovely outside, of course, but also within,
Nature gentle and calm like the breeze at afternoon,
My Snot Acara, my tender girl.

All it would take is a Rainbow Fountain dip,
Or a lucky Lab Ray Zap, or two or four,
For you to form a life-long friendship,
With a sticky sweet Neopet forevermore!
My Snot Acara, my beloved girl.
