an underwater city

many lonely pets wait here
for adoption
many were disowned
many were never wanted
they wait for owners
on a Saturday
I went to this lonely place
to find a new pet
I chanced to see here
a quiggle, rainbow in shade
I adopted him
He is not hungry
or lonely anymore now

but many still wait
there in the adoption place
