Poogles are the coolest Neopets,
Poogles are fantastic.
Everyone thinks that they're the best,
And that they are eccentric.

They may be painted pink or snow,
Or maybe even jelly,
But no matter where you go,
Everyone thinks they're lovely.

If there is a Neopet I do adore,
Poogles it would be.
Poogle Day will bring many more;
What a wonderful sight to see!

Always running or playing around,
And asking to be fed.
I like them if they're white or brown
Or even blue or red!

Dashing, leaping,
Jumping, prancing,
Daring, sleeping,
Bounding, dancing,

Oh, I love Poogles...

Poogle Races

Poogle One is fighting fit,
He's "lightning quick" they say;
He is also good on jumps,
But will he win today?

Oh, which to bet on?
Which to choose?
I don't really want to lose!

Poogle Two is a good choice,
If you're one who gambles,
'Cause if this Poogle is distracted,
His jumping is in shambles!

Oh, which to bet on?
Which to choose?
I don't really want to lose!

Poogle Three has bursts of speed,
But he's a clumsy clot,
And at odds of 5:1,
I'd really rather not!

Oh, which to bet on?
Which to choose?
I don't really want to lose!

Poogle Four is getting old,
Some say he's lost his speed,
But in his day he was the best,
Don't let his odds mislead!

Poogle Five is very fat,
All he does is eat,
But if he rolls from start to finish,
He'll have the others beat!

Poogle Day

All the Neopets are crowding 'round
For the grand old Poogle Parade!
On this cool, breezy day
In the month of Gathering,
Good times shall be made!

Parading Poogles march about,
Singing and laughing in glee,
While faerie Poogles fly through the sky
Ever so gracefully.

There are lots of things brand new today,
Like colours, candy, and books.
The Poogles will all be rushing
To the shops to take a good look!

We can't forget the Battledome!
For Poogles who like to fight,
There will be brand new weapons to battle with,
Great shields and swords of might!

So come and celebrate Poogle Day!
Fun will be had by all!
Each year, all the Poogles agree
That the parade is simply a ball!

Poogle Races

Every quarter of an hour,
You will see my face turn sour;
As I watch the Poogle Race,
You'll see sorrow on my face.
For every day to Faerieland
I have to go. It should be banned!

I cannot live without, you see,
The hustle and speed, as Poogle Three
Begins to run extremely fast
While my Poogle is coming last.
Alas, although I cheer and cheer,
My Poogle remains in the rear.

Two minutes before the starting gun,
My bets are placed; I'm finally done.
It takes five minutes to decide
On which Poogle my hopes will ride.
It is such a difficult choice to make
When my Scorchy Slot winnings are at stake.

Poogle One is a dead cert they say,
Lightning quick, just blink, and he's away.
"The favorite to win," and "fighting fit,"
Don't you just wish this Poogle would quit?
For his odds are appalling if you want to win big.
For this little Poogle I don't care a fig.

Poogle Three is "clumsy at jumping."
I beg your pardon? You must be joking!
I've never seen him miss a jump,
And I've never seen him fall with a bump.
In most of the races, I see him win the day,
But there are doubts in my mind,
And so I stay away.

I've never bet on Poogle Four;
I've never seen him win before.
Growing old's no laughing matter,
But I think this Poogle is mad as a hatter!
I don't think he can hear the gun!
So in the back he's doomed to run.

Poogle Five is overweight;
He's far too wide, for pity's sake.
Still he must eat some power food!
Just see him go (when he's in the mood)!
His odds are high, but there's a reason for that,
For all clever gamblers, this Poogle's just too fat!

And so I stick with Poogle Two
And there I'll stay no matter what or who.
(Although I've no idea
Where my faith comes from,
I bet on him always, and he's scarcely ever won.)
And even after all this, I love the races yet,
But pray they never change
Their 300 NP maximum bet!
