Call of the Kacheek

We're calling and ambling;
Oh, join in our play!
We're tumbling and rambling
Through cool flower'd day.
We'd love you to follow;
Your fears we'll allay,
And wrapped up in dreams,
We will bear you away.

Other Neopets dream of fighting,
Of strength that they'd own,
With training and gaining,
And cold hearts of stone.
The endless and mindless,
Like robots they're prone,
In the Battledome
They are ultimately alone.

Some Neopets dream of money,
Of earnings, of gold,
Above all to their hearts
Do the Neopoints hold,
Dreaming of codestones,
Neggs, paint brushes untold,
The jingle of Neopoints,
And thus their heart's sold.

We hear of the Neopets
Who dwell to restock,
And those to Tyrannia's Hall
Do they flock,
The ones who seek trophies
And add to their stock,
All their deeming and dreaming,
Their minds run amok.

But not the Kacheeks;
Oh, we're mild, and we're meek.
We wander and ponder and hide and we seek.
Come stroll through our fields,
The cool green and hollow,
Come stay, come play, we want you to follow.

Extreme Herder

Samrin the Kacheek with a pelt so blue
Had one especially large job to do.
He had to herd his Petpets into their pen
Away from Balthazar, again and again.

The Babaas and Noils frolicked in the field,
Completely oblivious and taking no yield
To Balthazar approaching over the hill,
His eyes glinting with a cold harsh chill.

But Samrin saw him, and quick as a flash,
Shut the Petpet pen gate with a very loud crash,
After a while, the Petpets all lay
Within the pen, safe for the day.

Samrin was brave, and Samrin was strong,
And the Petpets knew this all along,
For their lives were saved in a wonderful feat,
Showing that courage cannot be beat.

Kacheek Seek

A Kacheek is just too cute to mention,
But having one requires so much attention,
Look away for a minute or two,
And he'll somehow vanish from your view.

But no need to cry, he's only playing,
Just try to guess where he's now staying.
Under the couch in your Neohome?
Or in Edna's Tower, all alone?

Is he in the castle of Faerie City?
Or a Tyrannian cave, not quite so pretty.
He'll love to hide and make you guess,
And never mean to cause distress.

If you can point out his hiding place,
Out jumps your Kacheek, a smile on his face.
He'll congratulate you for winning the game,
And ask if you'd like to play again!

But if you've been searching for too long,
And every guess you make is wrong,
Don't worry about getting in a muddle,
Your Kacheek will soon find you for a cuddle!
