The Reject Cybunny Toy

Different, damaged, rather odd,
Alone on dusty shelf.
Button eyes uneven, dull,
He sits all by himself.

Cybunny plushie, not quite right,
Rejected from the rest.
Quality not up to scratch,
He failed factory test!

Reject plushie, loved by none,
He heaves a heavy sigh!
"Am I doomed to sit alone?"
So soft, that tearful cry.

Dawn and sunset, days roll on,
And still doth plushie sit.
Coat is dyed uneven hue,
And stuffing doesn't fit.

Smile stitched to stay in place,
But plushie's sad inside.
Manufactured, constant grin
His sorrow it shall hide.

Cybunny plushie, reject toy,
He wishes all day long!
For someone who'll see past the wreck,
For friends does plushie long!

Next time you're in the plushie shop,
Glance at the highest shelf.
Cybunny reject toy does sit,
So lonely, by himself.

The Petpetpet Conference

Deep in the fur of a playful Puppyblew,
a Petpetpet Conference took place.
The host was a distinguished Cooty who flew
with a quiet bobbing air
and a certain calm grace.

Thus the Petpetpets gathered around,
Vernax, Mozito, Mootix, and all.
The Puppyblew's fur they did well surround
and cling to with care
in order not to fall.

Their conference topic was Petpet Appreciation Day
and all the small troubles that with it would come.
The Petpets would tumble and roll and play --
and oh! the great scare
of the baths to rid scum!

"We the Petpetpets are never respected,"
a Larnikin stated in a kind of low roar.
"We must do something completely unexpected,
for this isn't fair
and we deserve more!"

"But why should we disturb the Petpets' big day?"
a meek little Mootix voiced her concern.
"My Angelpuss master treats me okay.
They can have their share
of fun -- it's their turn!"

"You're pampered enough," a Lady Blurg cried,
"for there's an avatar attached to you!
But what about us? We too have our pride
and together we'll declare
that our strength is true!"

But sadly the protest was not to be,
for in the near future there loomed a scrub:
"Puppyblew! Puppyblew! Come to Mommy!
We'll wash that dirty hair
in a nice warm tub!"

So that was the end of the Petpetpet Conference.

The Incredible Shop Wizard

There is a JubJub always working
Ever toiling, never shirking,
With robes of green and blue and red
And a wizard's hat atop his head.

The Shop Wizard! Neopia's friend,
Searching the markets without end.
Finding for you the lowest price,
He helps you shop, because he's so nice.

Never once does he give a complaint;
He has the patience of a saint.
Repeating searches, lending aid,
He works for free; he is never paid.

An item for you, keep in mind
All that he's done for you and I --

Deep Beneath the Winter Snows...

Deep beneath the winter snows,
The Ice Caves silently lie.
There the Snowager guards his hoard,
And the Negg Faerie flies.

High above the winter snows,
Beautiful Faerieland hides.
There Fyora dwells, the Faerie Queen,
And Jhudora resides.

Not far from the winter snows,
Tyrannia exists.
Free of ice and cloud and rain,
Free of snow and mist.

Most far from the winter snows,
Mystery Island sits.
The natives dwell there, and Jhuidah,
And Island Mystic fits.

Also far from the winter snows,
Maraqua's slowly made.
Aquatic pets dwell happily
While the foundation's laid.

Many more lands like the winter snows
Exist both near and far.
But we don't sit by the winter snows,
In Neopia Central we are.

Quiguki Quiggle

Quiguki Quiggle, raises his hat, bids you good day.
A fine merry fellow, to send you on your way.
Quiguki Quiggle, one-of-a-kind sir,
Such fine manners, indeed, to be sure.

Guardian of the bridge he is, this odd Quiggle,
His dress elicits from some a strange giggle.
Clothed all in silken garb, watch chain of gold,
Stranger from a foreign land, free from our mould.

Passers-by often stop to stare, gape open-mouthed,
At this odd gentleman who never seems roused;
For sneering faces, mean Neopoint-pinching hands,
None ever seem to bother him;
They simply do not walk his lands.

Scoundrels do not besmirch his money-bag,
Fiends don't on his land raise their flag.
Some odd little quirk, a hidden sight missed by us,
Keeps them away; the good sir is saved from fuss.

Lifts his hat, and a clever wink he sends your way,
"Three gold coins, for crossing you must pay."
Coins shine in the sunlight, them to him you toss,
He lifts his hat-with-a feather, as coins come across.

"Good day, how do you do?" all pleasant words,
Quiguki Quiggle guards the bridge, bereft of swords.
His job he does with a certain kind of flair,
As handkerchiefs and good manners
He pulls from the air.
Quiguki Quiggle, one-of-a-kind sir,
Such good manners, indeed, to be sure,
I bid thee good day.
