Neocash clutched tight in hand,
My pet and I set out
To wander through the NC Mall,
See what it was about.

"I want an outfit!" cried my Draik.
"Something that makes me shine!"
I nodded, did suggest a dress,
So dazzling in design.

We entered then the shopping room,
At once both gave a grin,
For never had we dared to dream
Of wonders deep within.

Every garment one dream up,
Lined thick, from wall to wall.
Shoes in pairs in boxes stood,
Bright towers, wide and tall.

A million types of face paint, too,
In hues of every kind.
We turned each corner in such awe,
Who knew what we would find?

Wigs to turn the baldest pet
Into one with long locks.
Gloves and masks and hats and bags,
Earrings and tons of socks.

We bought up big, and since that day
Do often venture back,
Seeking out the latest toy,
Or brand-new superpack.

And now it seems it's three years gone,
Who knew the time would fly?
Still we're shopping, cash in hand,
We ponder what to buy.

So when it comes to fashion games,
The Mall can't be outdone.
You'll spend a heap, I know it's true,
But still have heaps of fun.

A Plushie Lament

For time has worn her body,
But her stitched heart still beats true.

The Kookiths have invaded!
Quick, let the bells loudly knell,
For they've permeated Brightvale,
Village towns, and Meridell!

They billow from the windows,
And flood the gates and halls,
Block the chimney ways,
And claw up the castle walls.

And not just common Kookiths -- oh no!
They are many colours: chocolate and mutant too!
And don't forget ghost, strawberry, and green,
Kookiths of every hue!

And what damage these little Petpets cause!
On lettuce and crops they eat,
Bowling over poor Neopets to the ground
With their tiny, vicious feet.

So what do I have to say about Kookiths?
These Petpets of ill repute?
Though a bit of a pest in Brightvale...
You cannot deny that they are rather cute!

The Wheel of Monotony

The Wheel just revolves time after time,
like a broken record,
or Neopia's rotation,
the Wheel maintains its motion,
it goes around and around until dizziness sets in.

the Wheel moves and moves,
turning in a clockwise motion,
like the waves in the ocean.
Like a timer, it's going
And no one knows when it shall stop,
It may be ready to go off at any time;
it revolves and revolves,
goes around and around,
my patience gives way.
It spins and I wait,
I wait and it spins,
it seems some time soon
it shall stop its continuous motion,
like Kreludor travelling
past the stars in the sky,
the sun passing clouds that drift,
the clouds pass and I am still waiting,
waiting my turn.
It is spinning and so I wait,
I wait because the Wheel has not yet finished,
and so the Wheel decides my fate.
