Darigan's Plan

The war had just ended,
Darigan has won,
Meridell is in ruins,
the clouds blocked the sun.

When Meridell fell,
The Orb was returned,
back to Darigan,
An orb he had earned.

His people were happy,
they dreamed of their land,
but Darigan was evil,
he had another plan.

He went to his chamber,
he brought out his orb,
then thought of its power,
for him to absorb.

Deep in the dungeons,
a Chia was there,
his keeper was sleeping,
not a minute to spare.

He soon had escaped,
but heard Darigan's scheme,
he had to warn the people,
of what he had seen.

The keeper had found him,
but he too heard the plan,
he now hated his master,
and gave the brave knight a hand.

The Chia was out,
he escaped to Meridell,
and went to his enemies,
they heard out his tale.

Darigan betrayed them,
after all the battles they'd won,
the war had not ended,
the war had just begun.

Battledome Repairs

I got the call in the morning,
it was about 10,
they said it was very urgent,
this has happened every now and then.

I'm just your average green Eyrie,
in the construction business I am,
I usually build NeoHomes,
and I've hired quite a few hands.

There had been an accident,
at the Neopian Battledome,
I'd never actually been there before,
even though I call Neopia home.

A massive battle there was,
between a Grarrl and a Skeith,
they both had fought many times,
for neither had many teeth!

They both had used robo-hammers,
but the strain was just too much,
after too many missed blows hit the wall,
there were a few breaks in the struts!

Part of the Battledome collapsed,
though nobody was really hurt,
but the managers were quite embarrased,
with their building lying in the dirt!

But there was a great battle scheduled,
between two Faeries, of Fire and Space,
that building had to be fixed by morning,
and so began the race!

We worked all through the night,
my entire crew was there,
the Battledome managers were very pleased,
until I told them the fare!

But we got the project done,
and the duel went on as planned,
and I went on vacation to Mystery Island,
to relax and get a tan!

The Green Knight

Around the castle, battle and death raged
The foes of Meridell were engaged
The warriors of Meridell were losing the fight
When King Skarl learnt of their plight
As the blood of heroes stained the soil,
The Green Knight's blood began to boil.
With a shout, he arrived in a blinding flash of light
And indeed he was a magnificent sight.
His armor glowed with a lustrous green
As that had never before been seen.
He charged down the hill on his grey steed,
Helping Meridell, which was in need.
His blade was sharp, his lance keen
Striking down his foes unseen
In battle, he did not tire
In his eyes burnt a righteous fire.
Fearsome foes fled before his might
Lesser foes fled at his sight
No darkness clouded his shield
As he charged across the battlefield.
He smote the Elemental with his sword
With his lance, he defeated the Darigan Horde
He saved Meridell during its darkest hour,
The people's hopes began to blossom like a flower
But long ago, he rode away,
Into the Citadel where the shadows lay
After that, he was never seen again
Being ensnared into Darigan's den
People hope that one day,
His great efforts would pay.
To have him freed from the citadel
To help them once again, defend Meridell.

Adventure to the Gallery of Evil

I will never forget the day on which
my little Jubjub took a trip
to a place he never will go again.
I'll tell you the story,
beginning to end.

It was a warm, bright day
when he wandered out,
out of the house to roam about.
There was something new
he wanted to try.
He turned the knob,
and stepped inside

of a building filled with
portraits of those
who scare your pets
out of their clothes.
There were villains and ghosts
and things with horns,
some were dressed up,
and some unadorned.

Some were quite slimy,
and from some, drool dripped.
Wonder if Ghost Lupe came from a crypt...
And how about that Malkus Vile?
To cure those warts could take a while...

But there was none more frightening
than the evil Rock Beast!
Feeling threatened, Jubjub screamed
his deafening screech.
The walls shook and rattled,
and almost fell down.
I heard that scream over
at the edge of the town.

At lightening speed,
my Jubjub formulated a plan.
From the reaches of Neopia,
my Neopet ran.
Never looked back once,
not that little puff of foam!
He ran up to the doorstep
of our safe NeoHome.

But the evils of the gallery
didn't forget what went on.
They're waiting for the next victim who,
to them, becomes drawn.
So if you've been listening
to anything that I've said,
perhaps you'll suggest Deckball,
or Geos instead.

The Tale of Darigan

There once was a kingdom
where laughter echoed.
A place where beauty, peace,
and prosperity always entered.

And in the heart
of this noble land
was a golden orb
that kept the kingdom grand

Then one dreary night,
The Orb was taken away!
By a couple of vicious fiends
from a land far away

The wise Lord Darigan
called his best knights.
He said, "These barbarians
will not get away without a fight!"

So a deadly battle had started
Darigan's citadel became airborne.
The deadly thoughts of war
were starting to take form.

Finally, the day of truth has come
and the citadel arrived at Meridell.
Both sides fought valiantly,
but the prosperous side, it had fell.

Now Darigan has its orb back
