Their hooves sweep over the land,
A steady noise in the distance,
They feel it's going to be grand,
This celebration of existence

Their majestic head tilted up,
A shimmering horn in the light,
How can they possibly keep up,
With the celebration tonight? 

Their wings steadily extend,
Pointing at the burning sun,
They see each other as a friend,
In the height they've won 

Together they become one,
When they unite there is a way,
For the distance to be outrun,
And to celebrate this Uni day!

Uni Knight Outfit

Good heavens, how I love this look!
It's noble, spare and clean.
It's crafted with such solid steel,
And graced with golden sheen.

A stunning, winged bird of prey
Emblazoned on its chest
Is evidence of inner power.
It is a stunning crest.

The helm is lined with yellow gold.
The hoofs protect the toes.
They're made of metal magical
That withstands hits and blows.

And finally, the bottoms are
So buckled, hinged and tough.
Each buckled knee is thick and dense.
Each knee is hale and rough.

I love this outfit very much!
I'll buy one for my pet.
This outfit is so marvelous,
The best for Unis yet!

Song of the Warrior

He steps from the arena
The furious battle done.
His foe lies still and broken
In the slowly setting sun.

He's trained for this forever
Has more training still to come,
He's a Uni on a mission
To be the greatest one.

His armor shines so brightly
His face so cold and grim.
The winning came so easy
And it's wonder to see him.

He celebrates his winning
He's walking on cloud nine.
But it's only the beginning
He's glory yet to find.

The Invincible Valtonous Rea

She fiercely guards
Fairieland's goalpost
like it's her own Neohome
As her team's sole goalkeeper,
her main job is to block
and not to roam.

Keeping her eyes focused
on each coming Yooyuball
Her power and size
make her seem like
a majestic, moving wall.

Although she does
not run around
like the rest of her team,
"Go Valtonous,
block that 'ball!",
I hear the loyal fans scream.
(If the other team
never scores
because of her,
she would beam)

We see most Unis
as vain, pretty 'Pets,
but Valtonous Rea
does not care
if her hooves get muddy
or she messes up her hair.

Valtonous stands out
from other Unis,
she's as unique
as her own name.
Loyal to Yooyuball
teammates and fans,
she's definitely got game!

Adoption Desk Uni

The saddest place to be found
Is without a doubt the Neopian pound.
But behind the desk, a Uni waits,
Pink and pretty with a lovely face.
She does not judge, nor does she preach.
She's kind and warm to all she greets.
"I understand," she'll say to owners all
Who abandon their pets without a thought.
"Just sign here, then be on your way!"
"Don't you worry, have a nice day!"
She'll welcome the pets that are left behind
With a bubbly, "It's ok, you'll be fine!
For the painted pets, she knows this is true,
And for those who are trained and named nicely too.
They'll be adopted, and be happy once more
But for others a gloomier fate lies in store.
For the abandoned pets, yellow, green, red and blue
And those with names like "wjdcwmjl_1612"
In the Pound they'll have to stay
Being rejected 
Day
After
Day
After 
Day.
No, she does not preach, nor does she judge,
'Tis not her job to hold a grudge.
But deep inside her heart does cry
And she'll ever understand why
Or how owners so cruel can be
To cast aside their pets so carelessly.
So this Uni Day, spare a thought if you will
For this kindly Uni who gets no thrill
From working in the Neopian Pound,
Surely the saddest job to be found.

Kelp Waitress

Is the prestigious Kelp
Where a Uni waitress 
Is all ready to help 

She greets you with a smile
And guides you to your seat
Once you're seated and comfy
You'll be handed a menu sheet

A wide variety of food choices
That'll keep you bloated all day
"Feel free to take your time
Selecting your meal" she'll say

She often recommends
The Fish Special or Ocean Platter
The food is certainly delicious
But they're bound to make you fatter

The Uni will take your order
And her service is fast and good
The smile that's always on her face
Will brighten up your mood

She helps you pack your leftovers 
If you're unable to finish a nip
Politely she will see you out 
So be sure to leave her a tip

Celebrating The Mysterious Nightsteed

On this third day 
in the month of Running,
gather around and celebrate
a Uni known for his cunning.

He appears so harmless
upon first sight
but stick around until nightfall,
and he'll give you a fright.

By day, he gallops around
shining in blue.
By night, he takes on
a form that is true.

Covered in bandages,
overtaken by rot,
cause even the courageous
to flee on the spot.

Piercing red eyes
glow a strong red.
You would swear that 
this Uni was among the dead.

If you don't already know
who is capable of such a deed,
you must not be familiar
with the infamous Nightsteed.

A Woodland Uni’s Friend

The voice of pure tranquility
Called out to her that day,
As she walked along the river’s edge
With nature’s sounds in play.

She sought to find a special place
Where rest and sweet daydreams
Could be spent in quiet solitude
By the peaceful river stream.

She sat beside a still pool,
Nature’s mirror to reflect,
And noticed that the water
Showed her to her best effect.

The gentle current played upon
The features of her face,
And imbued her lovely visage
With sheer elegance and grace.

And then, when she had quenched
Her relentless vanity,
She rose to hear the buzzing 
Of a tiny Springabee.

Enchanted by the fragrance
Of her ornate floral mane,
He buzzed about her pretty head
And there he would remain.

Now, when daydreams beckon 
At the placid river’s end, 
She shares the secrets of her heart
With her treasured friend.

A Grey Uni in the Woods

There was once a Uni who was oh so Grey,
She lived in the forest in a shadowy glade.
Her coat and her mane were a somber hue,
She lived on her own, always hidden from view.

This Uni had lived quite a sad little life,
Her history was long and ended in strife.
Suffered disappointments far more than her share,
She asked her owner to paint Grey in her hair.

Her new paint job suited her sad little mood,
As she wanders around quite alone in the wood.
Her life might seem most disappointing to some,
But this is the life that she finds the most fun.

If you come across this sad little pet,
Be sure to be kind and please don't forget.
She may look miserable as she's painted Grey,
But she's very content and she's happy that way.

The Uni and the Peophin

Moonlight strikes the sapphire waves
Of foamy white and beige,
The moon is still amongst the stars,
They twinkle in a velvet cage.

Below the sky, a wondrous dance
of earth and air and land,
Uni wings and Peophin tails
Do play amongst the sand.

The creatures laugh amongst themselves
With "neigh" a single care,
Where the sea meets sand, they dash around,
Such laughter; merry and fair.

Until the dawn will break
And welcome in the day,
The Uni and the Peophin
Will continue to play.
