April Fool's Day

A faint hearted Wocky had learned to beware
of this dreadful day with mischief in the air.
If she had a choice, she simply wouldn't go out,
but as fate would have it, today she was in a drought.

Her last sip of Neocola had marked the bottle dry -
"I'm out of Neocola! Oh no!" She cried.
While zipping around in a fuss and a panic,
she knew she'd have to face the day, and one so manic.

She strapped up her backpack and set off with haste,
her little paws dashing with not a second to waste!
Laughter and trickery hung high in the air
as she squeezed her eyes shut from the thoughts she couldn't bare.

SPLASH! She shrieked as with water she met,
she looked at her fur - she was sopping wet!
Glaring, scowling, and looking up with a sigh,
a Shoyru with a bucket laughed and fluttered by.

With a meek smile, a Yurble waddled through,
and held out his paw with "Hello, nice to meet you!"
The little Wocky smiled and shook his paw -
ZAP! A hand buzzer gag! The Yurble guffawed!

With tears in her eyes, the Wocky fled for home,
Neocola or not - she wanted to be alone.
April Fool's was cruel and gave her such a fright
that just for a day, she wished to be out of sight.

A knock at her door pulled her out of her trance,
"Now who could that be?" out her window she glanced.
The same Shoyru and Yurble who had tricked her before
stood on her doorstep, having just come back from the store.

Angry, the Wocky grimaced and stood up,
as she opened the door, yelling "I've had enough!"
The Yurble and Shoyru held out their bags,
"We're sorry," they said, "We promise there's no gags."

The Wocky's eyes lit up! Why, she almost started crying
at the sight of the groceries they had finished buying!
Three bottles of Neocola, without any tricks
was the cure for her bad mood - an instant fix!

The three friends laughed and chugged their hearts away
and avoided further pranks for April Fool's Day.
This holiday can be fun for those with pranks to do,
but please be respectful if not everyone wants to!

Happy April Fools, my friends!
This day is sure to thrill!
Will TNT have tricks to make
Us laughing fit to kill?

Will pets become a hairless bunch,
Or sprout some manic fur?
Will they shrink down in weight and size, 
Or grow, as staff prefers?

Will all our bank accounts be lost?
Will storefronts disappear?
Will galleries be emptied out,
And fill us all with fear?

Will pets refuse to budge or move,
And cannot be transferred?
Will they refuse our Paint Brushes 
As useless overtures?

Will Country Queen be full of jokes
And craft a fun NT
That's brimming with such jolliness,
We die from our heehee's?

Will TNT release a shirt
That's humorously glitched
And makes our pets' legs disappear
While owners shriek and twitch?

Will we be quite assaulted by
A set of new RE's?
Will every single RE make
Us shudder nervously?

Will genders on the Neoboards
Be altered on this day?
Will we become of Robot ilk,
Or Zombies on display?

So Happy April Fools today!
It's sure to be quite fun,
'Cause when it comes to pranks and stunts,
The staff can't be outdone!

Surprise, it's April Fools!

On the date of April first,
We like to play a trick.
Wrack your brains and think,
But be sure to do it quick.

Will you prank your pal,
Or give a stranger a surprise?
Or hope for a foolish avatar,
As a special April prize.

You could paint one of your pets,
A crazy looking hue.
Or maybe change their outfit,
Into a silly one or two!

Be sensible with your pranks,
Don't give away your jewels.
Just have fun with your friends,
And yell 'Surprise, it's April Fools!'

Don't Be an April Fool!

The tricky holiday is upon us
and can catch you off guard
but you shouldn't fall for any tricks
as long as you study hard.

For example, there's no such thing
as Neoplants at, not even a clover
and no Neopet will ever get a
surprise sudden makeover.

And although some may miss him
there are no Neopetz you see
and for fans of the TCG
you'll have to wait for the Quiguki

One mean trick that's fake
and there's no need to rage
Neocharge wasn't real either
so feel free to load a page

And though he may be sad
all alone out at sea
Bug Eye Mcgee will never
ever, EVER be your Neobuddy

So if you see something coming up
just keep saying with zeal
"It's just a prank, just some trick
no way that this is real!"

April Fool's List of Pranks

For those who do not know what to do,
I have made a list for you,
A little list,
Which consists,
Some pranks for you to do,
In honor of April Fools.

Put some Purple Negg Goo in the shampoo,
Get a cobrall in a can but label it mixed nuts,
For your friend who hates gnomes: place them all over their neohome!

If you are snow painted,
Go to the beach,
Have a bucket of water and pretend that you are "melting".

These are a few pranks or tricks,
That you can do,
To celebrate April Fool's,
Just be careful,
And you need to know,
That someone might pull a trick on you too!
