Our story starts in Neopia,
A wonderous utopia,
Of all the pets there is to adore,
The Quiggle is the one so pure,
With skin so vibrant and in colours diverse,
Let me spin a tale in poetic verse.

Leeroy the Quiggle at the haunted fair,
Runs the Coconut Shy with a ghostly flair.
Your aim is true, with a gleaming eye,
You through your coconut at his coconut shy,
With a cackle and a grin, you miss the post,
You curse under your breath at the grimacing host. 

Morris, the young knight of Meridell's fame,
A Quiggle valiant, with honor and name.
Clad in armour, with sword and shield,
He rides through the meadows, on a noble field.
With bravery unmatched, he fights for the crown,
Protecting Skarl's castle, where the legends's renowned.

Ealyn Hawkshanks, our third Quiggle of might,
Champions Kreludor's team, to fans' delight. 
In the Altador Cup, he dribbles with grace,
His opponents falling behind in the chase,
With precision and grace, he scores with ease,
A star of the game, he brings fans to their knees.

And let's not forget, the avatar so grand,
A cheeky island Quiggle resting on the sand.
With a smile so wide, and eyes shining bright,
It fills our hearts with pure delight.
Collecting the avatars, a true Neopian's quest,
The island Quiggle picture is among the very best.

So let us celebrate the Quiggles' charms,
Their spirit and joy, can never disarm.
I love them with my heart so true,
Quiggles, dear friends, this poem's for you.

The Quiggle's Quigukis

Melvin was a boring Quiggle,
That nothing ever excited him,
No one saw him smile,
His face was always quite grim.

Then one day as a joke,
Someone gave him a Quiguki doll,
“Hope this brings you joy,”
The card said in untidy scrawl.

The little green thing,
All dressed like King Roo,
Draped in purple cape,
Gold crown sitting askew,
Sat on his desk,
In his peripheral view,
“Since you’re a gift,” he said,
“I’ll wait a few days to get rid of you.”

But every night before bed,
As he turned out the lights,
Leaving the little guy alone,
Didn’t feel quite right.

So on a whim,
He went to an online store,
And searched for Quiguki
To see if he might buy one more.

He saw mini versions of him,
Dressed in all sorts of costume,
A Jhudora with purple hair,
A Valentine’s holding roses in bloom,
A pirate with sword and patch,
A Collectors Edition with feather plume

Surprising himself, he bought ten,
To decorate his room,
Somehow those green faces,
Brought him out of his gloom.

And when they arrived,
He arranged them all in a pile,
Looking at his little friends,
His lips finally tugged to a smile.

Spin on The Wheel of Monotony

Spin and spin, on and on
The Wheel of Monotony ticks for long
Tyrannian Quiggle stares at me stoicly
Immobile, awkward, just sits patiently
Spin and spin, on and on
As time goes by fades out the fun

Sometimes it feels like the wheel slows down
That the wait is soon to be over
But then it starts again spinning around
it seems we have been here for hours
Tyrannian amphibian doesn't move, stares on
Nothing happens no signs of closure

Hopefully I get a prize that's worthwhile
Something I can take home or sell for good price
It's hard to squeeze a hint out of that Quiggle
It shows no emotion, has a gaze of ice
I have never seen a Neopet so immobile
I think I'm going to leave, it will not realize

Spin and spin, on and on
The wheel keeps spinning while I'm gone
And like I theorized previously
Quiggle stays monotone unendingly
Spin and spin, on and on
I'll never know what prize I have won

The Hungry Quiggle

"Watch out!" it screamed
"It is better if you hide really good
It is the hungry Quiggle
And he is looking for food!"

Then the small Petpetpet hid 
Under a leaf, trying its best
Fearing the hungry Quiggle
The Petpetpet was far from its nest

However, its call had not been in vain
With the help of its guiding
Many different Petpetpets
Were now also in hiding

All the Petpetpets held their breath
As the Quiggle passed by with a frown
His stomach rumbling from hunger
On his way towards town

The complete silence dragged
The Petpetpets held on tight 
Till they knew very certain
That the hungry Quiggle was out of sight

Then they celebrated briefly
"Thank you!" some did say
And then they quickly moved on
Till the next danger comes their way

Quiguki Quiggle Appreciation Day

In a land somewhat strange,
A Quiguki Quiggle longed for change,
To put behind the hops and croaks,
And embrace a new life with different strokes.

The little Quiggle fantasized,
Envisioned a life she once disguised.
Of becoming an Usuki Usul, oh so bright,
Elegant and graceful, the shiniest light.

She yearned a life of tea parties and gowns,
With ribbons and sparkles, strolling through town,
Two eyes sparkled with a wistful gleam,
pining for the life of an Usul in her dream.

But as the days passed, she soon realized,
That her true self was a special prize,
For deep within, she had a heart so kind,
A unique charm, with a playful mind.

She embraced her soul, her quirky charms,
Believing in herself, she found solace and calm,
No longer wishing for a different guise,
She embraced her uniqueness, to everyone's surprise.

Oh little Quiggle, stay true to your heart,
Your unique soul sets you apart,
Embrace yourself, both inside and out,
For that's what makes you special, without a doubt.

To wake up and get out of bed, do your usual morning routine, and put away your teddy.
It's morning now and you know what that means,
Time for the most important meal of the day in all greens.

That be the sound Zombie Quiggles make.
The herd is coming, let's be quick,
seek shelter before we are overrun,
because surely, there is more than one.

They might move slow,
but as the herd begins to grow,
it is a sign of woe.
Stay inside and shut that door,
brains be what they are coming for.

With parts of themselves dismembered,
now undead, driven only by hunger.
Does make one wonder
how much of their memory remains,
or if they still feel any pain.

As time creep closer to daybreak,
traces of the herd dissipate.
Back into the muddy lake they wait
till the hour to return, animate.

Quiggle Court Dynamics

Between you and me, I can honestly say
Not all at Court is quite as it seems
The young Quiggle Royal acts like a Page
And doesn't quite measure up to his Queen

He spends all his time away from the throne
Getting into scraps with his Quiguki friend
While the Royal Lady rules on her own
Holding Court by herself for hours on end

The two boys, along with a Cybunny lad
Run from their duties and shirk their chores
Feathers waving above their flat caps
When will they see what the future has stored

For the piper comes calling, sooner than not
And what will you have to show on that day
All your excuses will come to naught
And the bitterest price must be paid

Now is the time to learn the lesson well
To avoid the miseries that may lie in wait
Humility, responsibility, and kindness above all
Will secure for you a happy fate

Take a look in the mirror and reflect on yourself
Put your best foot forward, and find your truth
Strive for joy, for balance, for health
Make the most of the time in your youth

It's time to celebrate, Quiggle Day is here 
All can have a fresh start, no need to hide
To all of our brethren, this is our year
Stomp exuberantly and show them all your pride

The Quiggle in the City

The Quiggle in the city
wanted to feel very pretty.
So she went downtown
to get herself a crown.

The blue one, the yellow one, pink, red with shine.
She'd hope to find one and feel just divine.

She spent many hours but nothing seemed right,
she hoped this wouldn't go on into the night.

The Quiggle felt sad but she was in no rush.
She reached in her purse and then grabbed a brush.

Her hair shone bright, a fancy purple and green.
It sparkled just right. It had a nice sheen.

In the corner of her eye, she saw something bold.
It glistened and shone. It was covered in gold.

"I've found it!" she said. "And it goes with my hair!"
And indeed it did. She wore it with care!

In front of the mirror, she waved with a pose.
She felt so pretty, from her head to her toes.

"I now need a gown to go with this crown! 
And shoes and a necklace and rings! 
Oh wow!"

She giggled and frolicked.
She was as happy as can be! She wanted to show it off for all to see!

The Quiggle was delighted and felt oh so pretty! 
She had quite a day, a day in the city!

Click, Click, Click....

And the Wheel of Knowledge, sun-shining and fair 
Poor Plesio makes his Wheel less Mediocre 
The Wheel of Misfortune will give you a such a scare! 


But what of the Wheel that spins hour after hour? 
Its haunting ‘click click click’ going on and on 
Whose job is it, then, to sit watching and waiting? 
What poor soul must attend the Wheel from dusk to dawn? 


A Quiggle! The unsung hero of Tyrannia 
Who sits and waits, endlessly, chin in his hand 
He may look somewhat sour, but then, can you blame him? 
His only companions his watch and the sand


So give a hurrah for our longsuffering friend!

Flycatcher

from the pond he won't stray
There is a Quiggle 
Who keeps the pests at bay.  

He shoots his tongue out
And the pests begin to shout 
"Beware! There's a hunter,
With hunger about!" 

He cleans up the pests 
Though the bees he detests 
When they sting his mouth
He cannot perform at his best! 

Some call him the Flycatcher 
But his name doesn't matter, 
that hungry, pink guy: 
The very hungry Quiggle.

Quiggle Games for Quiggle Day!

But they're persnickety creatures who do insist

Like with rows of flies that are fast descending

His swampy home from stinging bees

But maybe you prefer a game of chance
Hitting coconuts with a sideways glance
You know old Leeroy's up to something 
And you'll likely be coming home with nothing

Generating adventures may seem a daunting game
As the wizard Borri chides you with disdain 
He claims your story "isn't great"
But joke's on him, because it's top rate

Surely you didn't forget the biggest game of them all
The Altador Cup with its siren call 
And Ealyn Hawkshanks propelling Kreludor toward 
A podium spot secured by this hard-working forward!

The Best Quiggle of All

To Ealyn Hawkshanks, that's who!

Ealyn plays for Kreludor
But he used to play for KI
We miss him on the island
And were sad to wave goodbye.

This Quiggle played as forward
And he scored lots of goals
Moving fast and scoring faster
As he ducks and rolls.

Now he plays for Kreludor
And he's still playing well
Except when he's against KI -
He misses us, can't you tell?

KI no longer has a Quiggle
And we miss Ealyn a lot
For when it comes to Quiggles
He's the best the AC's got!

One where you won't need to scramble,
The Wheel of Monotony may be just for you,
When will it stop spinning nobody has a clue!

Sometimes taking several hours,
You'll have time to buy many flowers,
Bring a friend so you don't get bored,
Remember to be patient as the prize may be worth waiting towards!

If you're lucky the Quiggle host will give you a paint brush,
Just remember to not stop by if you are in a rush,
It isn't ideal to try to finish this in a hurry,
If you are it may be a reason to start to worry!

There is an avatar that you can win,
Just make sure you come back everyday to spin,
Eventually you'll get the prize you want,
After which the Quiggle host will no longer be able to taunt!

When Summer is near,
A gathering of Quiggles results.
An event they will hold, 
For the young and the old,
Called the Quiggle Wiggle Waltz.

You step and you slide, 
Then step to the side,
Twirl your partner but hold that embrace.
A Promenade or a turn, 
Or a move you just learned,
Just remember that smile on your face.

There’s one more rule, 
That’s never been schooled.
You must wiggle throughout the whole dance
And although foreign, 
It’s far from boring,
You would at least want to give it a chance.

Although traditionally,
Waltz’s are danced elegantly,
The intention of this dance is in good fun.
The crowd will all cheer,
For the judges to hear,
Because the judges will decide who has won.

If you stop on by,
And want to give it a try,
Follow the rules and avoid any faults.
And it’s okay to jiggle, 
Some may just giggle,
To the Quiggle. Wiggle. Waltz!

His coat was soft and worn.
His two button eyes seemed melancholy,
And his smile was sad and forlorn.

You see, his owner grew tired one day,
And said, “Burlap Quiggle, I don’t want to play
With you anymore.” So he cast him away,
And threw him into the Pound.

Each day passed, rainy and grey,
His coat grew worn and frayed,
Until finally, one sunny day,
Someone new came around.

“Hello, Burlap Quiggle,” she said.
“How would you like a new friend?”
The Quiggle smiled, content,
For his lonesome days had come to an end.

They read books, and laughed, and drank tea,
His heart felt warm and free.
Each night, he stared at the stars above,
Knowing that he was loved.

The Flycatcher Quiggle

No slack

Brightvale's Gate, he goes to the lake
With a belly so full, but not today
Because he can't swim for another 30 minutes so he stays

No cramps will hit
'Cause he's careful with it
As a matter of fact, he sits on the pad
With Quigs and Nimmos, lots of water underneath their feet
I'm trying to get a pad of mine
But I have no balance so I can't shine

Jiggle, jiggle
He wants to see you wiggle wiggle
Like the Quiggle, Quiggles
On Quiggle Day!
