Where Cinto Pango rings the news.
A new fruit has been discovered!
It’s something we can’t refuse.

Down in Mystery Island
Gadgadsbogen has begun!
A month-long festival awaiting
That is similar to none.

There’s a special position for one;
The Grand Bogen must be a Kougra.
He claims to be in charge of all,
So to him, we must hurrah!

Oh wait, you say he cleans up?
To help tide everyone at the end?
Well, it may not be that glamorous,
But it is on him that we all depend.

See, he cleans up after the parties
To keep Mystery Island looking great.
So, when tourists visit otherwise,
They won’t be upset or irate.

It might be underappreciated,
Dear Rufus, I truly admire you.
I hope you retain your position
Because we need you to pull through!

The Festival Of Fruit

It comes once a year
during the month of Running,
the new fruit seeds
begin to start growing.

The newest crop of fruit
on faraway Mystery Island
sprout and form, bringing
a new flavor to the land.

And during this time
a celebration occurs,
as Neopians gather and party
and shout out the words

Happy Gadgadsbogen!
A festival of fruit!
While old ones may be going,
new fruit soon take root!

While some might miss old fruit
the festival is about renewal,
And everyone is kind to others
and no one is cruel.

The spirit of Gadgadsbogen
fills everyone with cheer.
It's simply a shame this comes
just once every year.

A Meal Of Fruit

Out I go for Gadgadsbogen,
The Mystery Island festival of fruit.
Out I go to shop and shop
And home I go to survey my loot.

I hold a Flatfruit to the light --
Oh, what am I to make?
I could have a Flatfruit Slushie,
It will be a piece of cake.

My eyes scan the kitchen bench,
Fixing on quite the sight to see.
Oh my, that delicious, juicy berry!
No, I'll have a cup of Islandberry Tea.

As I think this, another berry jumps up,
But its energy's no cause for fright,
As Merryberries are sugar-filled
And can make a great Berry Delight!

I feel as though the meal's lacking.
What catches my eye next is flame?!
I see now it's a Flaming Bomberry -
The only question is: am I game?

My mind flies and cartwheels.
Cooking shouldn't bamboozle,
My common sense tells me.
Wait, I know! I'll add a Froozle.

Out I go to the dining room,
Food and drink in either hand.
Out I go to eat and sip
The fruitiest meal in all the land.

The Mystery Of Gadgadsbogen

Belonging to no group or trade
Known anywhere (so far),
Creatures bearing fruit draw near
To land below the stars

And beach themselves ashore, and flee.
We know not their true goals,
Except to grant new fruits each year
To replenish the old.

With palest light and morning dew,
The fruits ripen at once, 
Diverse in type and taste and scent.
Each Neopian hunts

The shop in which the fruits are found.
On that good, good day,
The lucky few will get a taste;
Be first to steal away.

Before that time, a crowd will form
And all will wonder how
To eat the newest fruit to come.
Will they be blue or brown?

Will they sport their thorny skulls,
Conceal their gold within,
Or will their skin be soft as fur
With flesh as rank as sin? 

No matter what the case may be,
They'll not be met with hate.
Either way, there's naught to do
But to prepare and wait.
