The Quiggle Knight

Some mourn bravery for lost;
Some believe none true remain.
Damsels weep and wronged despair
And only wish to hope again.

Dry your eyes and lift your chin;
Hope's not lost, as it would seem.
The Quiggle Knight does still exist;
To be a knight always his dream.

Metal plates glint on his chest,
A shining sword hangs at his side.
Courageous heart and wise-bright eyes
Upon noble Uni astride.

Burnished hoof and webbed toes trod
Along his winding knightly path;
Wrongdoers quake and robbers flinch
Lest they incur his righteous wrath.

So raise your head and show no fear!
The Quiggle Knight is never far.
Chivalry lives on in him;
By sun and rain; by moon and star.

Quivery Quiggle Quip

And can wriggle, hop, and jiggle,
It's for sure a jelly Quiggle
Is for you!

Jelly Quiggles that grow big'll
Catch the yummy flies that niggle,
Nip them right down in their middle!
Yes, it's true!

With the lab ray map to twiddle --
Day by day to get a Quiggle
Jellified.

When luck at last is yours the rig'll
Make your pet a jiggle-Quiggle!
And with great delight you'll giggle
And show pride.

Quiggle Day for Quinton

"It's Quiggle Day, it's Quiggle Day!"
Quinton the Quiggle cried.
"Another year of health and cheer,
But please eat right," he sighed.

"To live a healthy, healthy life,
Green gummy Quiggles you shall not eat.
To keep in shape for faerie quests,
Forego the caramel Quiggle feet."

"You're only as young as you feel,"
Quinton wisely reminded me.
"So buy my carrots and the medicinal plants,
And the greycorn from my tree."

I decided to be healthy, to buy from his shop,
But then I saw with my own two eyes:
Quinton winked, said, "But it's Quiggle Day."
And munched on his chocolate-coated flies.

Quaglor and Quinton

Bell above the door did ring,
Weary Quiggle did walk in.
Sighing, shaking head jet black,
Pushing hair from eyes and back.

He walks to counter, glances up;
Quiggle there is drying cup.
He clears his throat and says to him,
"What've you got to strengthen a limb?"

Quiggle at counter jumps in surprise,
Rubs and rubs, and blinks his eyes.
"I know you!" he yells, eyes wide.
"Quaglor the Intrepid! Explorer and guide!"

"Guide?" says Quaglor, frowning deep.
"I just explore and eat and sleep."
"But you're my hero!" other breathes.
"Stay a while, please don't leave!"

"So you're the owner of this shop?
Seems a nice small place to stop."
"Yes, it's mine, of it I'm proud.
I'm Quinton the Quiggle, friendly and loud!"

Quaglor smiles and cocks a brow,
Takes step back and gives a bow.
And Quinton hands him carrots: six!
Then twiddled thumbs; was in a fix.

"I guess I'll have to let you go...
But if you need food, let me know."
And when his hero turned to leave,
Quinton had a sigh to heave.

Then there they were, face to face,
And Quaglor drew him to embrace.
"We'll meet again someday, I think:
In fact I'm positive, tickle me pink!"
