Pretty neggs that is clear,
Out-of-this-Neopia was the theme this year.

Travelling around Neopia to find the treasure,
Hence a Neopia negg to celebrate the pleasure.
Another negg that is absolutely electric,
Is the plasma negg, but get close and it gets eccentric.

The polar lights negg reminds one of terror mountain,
Aurora so beautiful and disarming.
Another negg that is too hot to touch,
You could try cooking with it but it might be a bit much.

You may think twice before munching down,
On a spaceship negg with rocket parts around.
Don’t worry if you didn’t find these neggs,
There’s always next year to continue the trek.

So let’s thank faeries, Mira and Kari,
For another round of fun clues and merry.
At the next festival, more celebration again,
Bring your detective hat and we’ll see you then!

An Exciting Event

One of the most exciting events of the year,
Truly unites Neopia and brings cheer,
Kari returns for some fun,
Make sure to be on time as there are prizes to be won!

The most valuable tool are the clues,
After finding a negg you'll have a few options to choose,
The different options have different rewards,
Choose wisely if you have a specific goal you're working towards!

The neggs can be scattered all over the map,
Some hints may be tricky so if you aren't sure try again after a nap,
Solving the riddles with friends can be exciting,
An event truly worth the yearly sighting!

Try to find each negg on the day the clue is given,
For there's a bonus prize if that will have you driven,
Let's see what Kari has in store for us this time around,
Start hunting - there are neggs to be found!

Neopians gather both near and afar 
To find these neggs they must be on par

Read the clues slowly and with care 
Or else you'll get stuck with just a blank stare
Fill up your basket with neggs of all kinds
And take them to Kari, she'll reward every find

The Negg Festival only comes but once a year 
Bringing all the lands such Spring cheer 
Neggs with stripes, squiggles, and spots 
You'll find you can't help but smile- a lot 

So celebrate and cheer with all your friends 
As this festival comes to its end 
We found our neggs and their prizes too

The Purple Negg!

In Darigan a Mutant Hissi slithers,
His eyes fall upon a Purple Negg as he shivers.
Its hue so rich as its surface smooth and bright,
He must have it as he'll take it into the night!

Obsessed he becomes with this precious find,
He takes it everywhere as it's always on his mind.
Through Neopia he explores land after land,
The Purple Negg always held tightly in his hand!

He likes to show it off to everyone he meets,
To bask in the envy and hear their gasps and squeaks.
He's proud of his treasure as he thinks it’s so rare and divine,
His Purple Negg even has its own shrine!

He slithers on with his Purple Negg held high,
The Mutant Hissi and his Purple Negg with an unbreakable tie.
He arrives at his home to show off the Purple Negg to his granny,
Who takes the Purple Negg and eats it as she thought it was candy!

The Negg Nobody Found Last Year

There's one in every clutch,
A Negg hidden too well.
Where it lay,
No one could tell.

Tucked in a dark corner
As Negg hunters ran past.
Who would have thought
Its hiding place could last?

When the Neggs were counted,
"We're missing one," said Kari.
But the festival is ending,
The Negg Faerie had to hurry.

So the curtain dropped, and
The Festival of Neggs was done.
With all festivities over,
The year marched on.

A Negg forgotten,
Even by the most intrepid,
Till it became something
Utterly foul and fetid.

Disintegrated, rotted,
To say nothing of the smell!
One could smell it from Kreludor,
What a waste! Oh, well!

No longer a colourful snack,
Now a terrible weapon,
When hurled into the Battledome,
Capable of mass destruction!

Until Next Year

We had our fun,
Looking all around.
The fest this year is done,
All the neggs have been found.

The mystery was solved,
The prizes given out.
It will come back next year,
There's no need to pout.

We discovered a new find,
The mighty Bython is the name.
Under your pet's care,

It only happens once a year.

The Neggery

In a corner of the Ice Caves,
There's a shop called the Neggery,
Run by a Faerie named Kari,
Who's very friendly and cheery.

There are plenty of Neggs on sale,
Which come in different designs,
From plain and multicoloured ones,
To polka dots and wavy lines. 

Each Negg has a special effect. 
Not only does it taste real good, 
But it can also change a pet's, 
Colour and stats, hunger and mood.

Some pets would rather keep than eat,
The Neggs because they're so pretty.
Therefore, they stash them in their safe,
Or put them in their gallery.

Kari collects other Neggs too. 
If you have what she's looking for, 
They can be handed in for points, 
Which you can use to buy some more!

Kari’s Festival Adventure

Kari’s life is fun, and very eventful
It starts early with watching her feet
When stepping out of bed, carefully
The floor is covered in this versatile treat

Neggs have always been her passion
She loves creating new ones every year
For everyone to find, all over Neopia
During the Festival of Neggs she holds dear

Every year, simultaneously with an adventure,
This festival is always a great sensation
This year, by her precious friend Mira,
Kari was invited to the space station

A big riddle reveals itself 
Mira shows Kari some neggs she found
Floating far from Neopia in space
To this mystery Kari reacts quite astound

But, with friendship and some help
Nothing will forever go without solution
While finding neggs, and reading cards
Everyone delivers some sort of contribution

After much magic and experimentation
Kari lets out an adoring squeal
Two little faces appear from the neggs
Their cuteness having great appeal

Two heads connected to one serpentine body
Scales shining beautifully in the starlight
Mira names them without any hesitation
The name “Bython” fits them quite right

Now, the time has come for Kari to leave
To go home again and to prepare
Because, while she will see Mira soon again,
It takes time to make loads of neggs to share

Negg Faerie Festival - Unique Pairing

The beautiful and fierce space faerie,
One always thought she'd prefer solitude,
Joined the bubbly and kind Negg Faerie,
Hosting the Negg Festival they viewed.

Different neggs came about this year,
Each with their own prizes and design,
All of them brought quite the cheer,
Unintentionally creating a shrine!

Many users around the globe gathered,
In hopes of collecting all the prizes,
A few picking the same Negg - no matter,
Attributing it all to different "sizes."

The festival ended with quite the bang,
A charm, an avatar, and a lovely background, 
Unintentionally creating different gangs,
For each prizes that were all around!

Bythons Everywhere!

So many things happened,

It was the best prize yet.

Festival of Neggs '23

In spring you will find that Kari appears
And hosts the Festival of Neggs each year
This time she enlisted the help of a friend
Mira, the Space Faerie, up at the Station

The Virtupets Space Station was hopping, you see
With decorations, games, and festivity
Curiously, we still had to shuttle to and fro
From Neopia to Virtupets and even Kreludor

It probably would've been easier to stay up in space
Instead of expending fuel going all over the place
But I guess where would the fun be in that
Plus there was a mysterious Negg in a vat

And what do you know, the Negg was an egg!
And with the help of Mira, out popped two little heads
The Faeries named the creature Bython
As Neopians everywhere happily smiled on

A new Petpet species, we were happy to have
And the discovery really did nothing by halves
Three colours we got, and they were all three quite cute
Just like the Talpidat which we found in '22

All in all the event was considered a success
Pretty easy to follow with not too much stress
The new avatar was a nice little perk
Thank you to Kari for all her hard work

Nature Negg

Every year, the Festival of Neggs returns to celebrate all things Spring- and negg-related,
I would like to take this moment to talk about a negg that all negg collectors should buy if they don't have it already before its price tag becomes inflated.
The negg that I'm talking about is the Nature Negg and it's selling for about 12,000 neopoints as of right now,
With a delightful, bright floral pattern over its surface when exposed to sunlight... however, I wouldn't give it to a Tonu to chow.

Feeding a Tonu this negg will make it sick with Neezles, but feeding it to other pets is fine,
The negg is pastel yellow-coloured with lavender and blue floral designs embellished with intricate green leaves--- oh how divine!
This was given out as a prize for the Festival of Neggs in year twenty-two,
And is the most invincible negg ever... who knew?

Try to break it,
And it'll never break... not even with a hit.
April 25, 2020 was the exact date that this negg was first introduced in Neopia,
All the details you can find inside the Neopedia.

So, what are you waiting for?

‘Neggs’ from Outer Space? A Festival of Neggs poem

Kari the Negg Faerie scratched her head and strolled her Caves of Ice:
“This year’s Festival will be one to remember! But where should it be, to be precise?”

She reached Happy Valley and looked at the sky; and eyed a blue light moving swiftly by.
As she watched the light grew, and closer it drew until Kari exclaimed “The Space Faerie, it’s you!”

The two faeries were old friends, 
and caught up over Negg Slushies, 
until finally Mira said:
“Kari, I need your expertise”.

She’d discovered strange things in outer space:
small objects she kept inside of a case.
Some looked like spaceships, some glowed with light - some looked like Neopia but that couldn’t be right.

Yet the one thing in common Kari couldn’t believe: they all looked like Neggs.
“How soon can we leave?”
The arrangements were made within the hour, then off they flew, (with all the Neggs they could devour).

And that’s how the Festival was held on the Space Station:
the home of Gormball and the Grundos.
But who will help Kari solve this ‘Negg’ situation?
Will it be you? Well, who knows!

Colourful Negg Hat

A Negg-y Poem

The Neggs are back in town for us once more.
To click and search for treats is ne'er a bore. 

The first place that we checked is Kreludor.
We enter the cafe to eat and SCORE! 

3 Neggs await for us, it's quite a sight!
The first to show its place was Polar Lights.

The next to choose looked quite so very rare
It's red and glowing like a Solar Flare.

And last of all the one that looks like earth.
Neopia negg quite knows what it's worth.

Kari led us in the right direction.
With Mira hanging out in her section. 

The time is here. Let's celebrate good times. 
More neggs to fill our lives for a lifetime.
